1: We make known_G1107 now_G1161 to you,_G4771 brothers,_G0080 the_G3588 grace_G5485 -_G3588 of God_G2316 -_G3588 having been bestowed_G1325 among_G1722 the_G3588 churches_G1577 -_G3588 of Macedonia,_G3109

2: that_G3754 in_G1722 much_G4183 proof_G1382 of tribulation,_G2347 the_G3588 abundance_G4050 of the_G3588 joy_G5479 of them_G0846 and_G2532 -_G3588 of_G2596 deep_G0899 poverty_G4432 of them_G0846 abounded_G4052 into_G1519 the_G3588 riches_G4149 the_G3588 generosity_G0572 of them._G0846

3: For_G3754 according to_G2596 [their] ability,_G1411 I testify [that],_G3140 and_G2532 beyond_G3844 [their] ability,_G1411 [they were] willing of themselves,_G0830

4: with_G3326 much_G4183 entreaty_G3874 imploring_G1189 of us,_G1473 for the_G3588 grace_G5485 and_G2532 the_G3588 fellowship_G2842 of the_G3588 service_G1248 -_G3588 among_G1519 the_G3588 saints._G0040

5: And_G2532 not [only]_G3756 as_G2531 we had hoped,_G1679 but_G0235 themselves_G1438 they gave,_G1325 first_G4412 to the_G3588 Lord,_G2962 and then_G2532 to us,_G1473 by [the]_G1223 will_G2307 of God._G2316

6: Accordingly_G1519 -_G3588 exhorted_G3870 we_G1473 Titus,_G5103 that_G2443 as_G2531 he had begun,_G4278 so_G3779 also_G2532 he might complete_G2005 with_G1519 you_G4771 as well,_G2532 the_G3588 grace_G5485 this._G3778

7: But_G0235 even as_G5618 in_G1722 every [way]_G3956 you abound,_G4052 in faith,_G4102 and_G2532 speech,_G3056 and_G2532 knowledge,_G1108 and_G2532 all_G3956 earnestness,_G4710 and_G2532 in the_G3588 from_G1537 us_G1473 to_G1722 you_G4771 love,_G0026 that_G2443 also_G2532 in_G1722 this_G3778 -_G3588 grace_G5485 you should abound._G4052

8: Not_G3756 as_G2596 a command_G2003 do I speak,_G3004 but_G0235 through_G1223 the_G3588 of others_G2087 earnestness,_G4710 also_G2532 the_G3588 -_G3588 of your_G5212 love_G0026 genuineness_G1103 proving._G1381

9: You know_G1097 for_G1063 the_G3588 grace_G5485 of the_G3588 Lord_G2962 of us_G1473 Jesus_G2424 Christ,_G5547 that_G3754 for the sake of_G1223 you_G4771 He became poor,_G4433 rich_G4145 being,_G1510 so that_G2443 you_G4771 -_G3588 through that_G1565 poverty_G4432 might be enriched._G4147

10: And_G2532 a judgment_G1106 in_G1722 this [matter]_G3778 I give,_G1325 this_G3778 indeed_G1063 for you_G4771 is profitable,_G4851 who_G3748 not_G3756 only_G3440 -_G3588 to act,_G4160 but_G0235 also_G2532 -_G3588 to will,_G2309 have begun_G4278 from_G0575 a year ago._G4070

11: Now_G3570 then_G1161 also_G2532 the_G3588 doing_G4160 complete;_G2005 so that_G3704 just as_G2509 [there was] the_G3588 readiness_G4288 of the_G3588 to will,_G2309 so_G3779 also_G2532 the_G3588 to complete,_G2005 out of_G1537 that which_G3588 you have._G2192

12: If_G1487 for_G1063 the_G3588 readiness_G4288 is present,_G4295 as_G2526 if_G1437 he might have_G2192 acceptable,_G2144 not_G3756 as_G2526 not_G3756 he does have._G2192

13: Not_G3756 for_G1063 that_G2443 to others [there may be]_G0243 ease_G0425 but for you_G4771 affliction,_G2347 but_G0235 of_G1537 equality._G2471

14: At_G1722 the_G3588 present_G3568 time,_G2540 -_G3588 your_G4771 abundance_G4051 [will be] for_G1519 the_G3588 of those_G1565 need,_G5303 so that_G2443 also_G2532 -_G3588 their_G1565 abundance_G4051 may be_G1096 for_G1519 the_G3588 of you_G4771 need,_G5303 so that_G3704 there may be_G1096 equality._G2471

15: As_G2531 it has been written:_G1125 He_G3588 the_G3588 much_G4183 not_G3756 did abound,_G4121 and_G2532 he_G3588 the_G3588 little_G3641 not_G3756 had lack._G1641

16: Thanks_G5485 however_G1161 -_G3588 to God,_G2316 the [One]_G3588 putting_G1325 the_G3588 same_G0846 earnestness_G4710 for_G5228 you_G4771 into_G1722 the_G3588 heart_G2588 of Titus._G5103

17: For_G3754 [our]_G3588 indeed_G3303 appeal_G3874 he accepted,_G1209 very earnest_G4705 however_G1161 being,_G5225 of his own accord_G0830 he has gone out_G1831 to_G4314 you._G4771

18: We have sent_G4842 now_G1161 with_G3326 him_G0846 the_G3588 brother_G0080 whose_G3739 -_G3588 praise_G1868 [is] in_G1722 the_G3588 gospel_G2098 through_G1223 all_G3956 of the_G3588 churches;_G1577

19: not_G3756 only_G3440 now,_G1161 but_G0235 also_G2532 having been chosen_G5500 by_G5259 the_G3588 churches_G1577 fellow traveler_G4898 of us,_G1473 with_G4862 -_G3588 grace_G5485 this_G3778 that [is]_G3588 being administered_G1247 by_G5259 us_G1473 toward_G4314 the_G3588 Himself_G0846 of the_G3588 Lord_G2962 glory,_G1391 and_G2532 readiness_G4288 of us,_G1473

20: avoiding_G4724 this,_G3778 lest_G3361 anyone_G5100 us_G1473 should blame_G3469 in_G1722 the_G3588 abundance_G0100 this_G3778 -_G3588 being administered_G1247 by_G5259 us._G1473

21: We are taking great care to do_G4306 for_G1063 what is right,_G2570 not_G3756 only_G3440 before_G1799 [the] Lord,_G2962 but_G0235 also_G2532 before_G1799 men._G0444

22: We sent with_G4842 now_G1161 them_G0846 the_G3588 brother_G0080 of us,_G1473 whom_G3739 we have proven_G1381 in_G1722 many things_G4183 often_G4178 earnest_G4705 to be,_G1510 now_G3570 however_G1161 much_G4183 earnest_G4705 by [his] confidence_G4006 more_G4183 which [is]_G3588 in_G1519 you._G4771

23: Whether_G1535 as regards_G5228 Titus,_G5103 [he is] partner_G2844 my_G1699 and_G2532 for_G1519 you_G4771 a fellow worker;_G4904 or_G1535 brothers_G0080 our,_G1473 [they are] apostles_G0652 of [the] churches,_G1577 [the] glory_G1391 of Christ._G5547

24: -_G3588 Therefore_G3767 the proof_G1732 of the_G3588 love_G0026 of you_G4771 and_G2532 of our_G1473 boasting_G2746 about_G5228 you,_G4771 to_G1519 them_G0846 show_G1731 in_G1519 face_G4383 of the_G3588 churches._G1577
