1: These_G3778 therefore_G3767 having_G2192 -_G3588 promises,_G1860 beloved,_G0027 we should cleanse_G2511 ourselves_G1438 from_G0575 every_G3956 defilement_G3436 of flesh_G4561 and_G2532 spirit,_G4151 perfecting_G2005 holiness_G0042 in_G1722 [the] fear_G5401 of God._G2316

2: Make room for_G5562 us;_G1473 no one_G3762 we have wronged,_G0091 no one_G3762 we have corrupted,_G5351 no one_G3762 we have exploited._G4122

3: For_G4314 condemnation_G2633 not_G3756 I speak;_G3004 I have before said_G4302 for_G1063 that_G3754 in_G1722 the_G3588 hearts_G2588 of us_G1473 you are,_G1510 for [us]_G1519 -_G3588 to die together,_G4880 and_G2532 to live together._G4800

4: Great [is]_G4183 my_G1473 boldness_G3954 toward_G4314 you;_G4771 great_G4183 my_G1473 boasting_G2746 on behalf of_G5228 you;_G4771 I have been filled_G4137 -_G3588 with encouragement;_G3874 I overabound_G5248 -_G3588 with joy_G5479 upon_G1909 all_G3956 the_G3588 affliction_G2347 of us._G1473

9: Now_G3568 I rejoice,_G5463 not_G3756 that_G3754 you were grieved,_G3076 but_G0235 that_G3754 you were grieved_G3076 unto_G1519 repentance;_G3341 you were grieved_G3076 for_G1063 according to_G2596 God,_G2316 so that_G2443 in_G1722 nothing_G3367 you might suffer loss_G2210 through_G1537 us._G1473

10: The_G3588 for,_G1063 according to_G2596 God_G2316 grief,_G3077 repentance_G3341 to_G1519 salvation_G4991 without regret_G0278 produces;_G2038 -_G3588 and_G1161 the of the_G3588 world_G2889 grief,_G3077 death_G2288 produces._G2716

11: Behold_G2400 for,_G1063 this very_G0846 same_G3778 thing,_G3588 according to_G2596 God_G2316 to have been grieved,_G3076 how much_G4214 has produced_G2716 in you_G4771 earnestness,_G4710 but instead_G0235 reasoned defense,_G0627 but_G0235 indignation,_G0024 but_G0235 fear,_G5401 but_G0235 longing,_G1972 but_G0235 zeal,_G2205 but_G0235 vindication!_G1557 In_G1722 everything,_G3956 you have proved_G4921 yourselves_G1438 innocent_G0053 to be_G1510 in this_G3588 matter._G4229

12: So_G0686 if_G1487 even_G2532 I wrote_G1125 to you,_G4771 [it was] not_G3756 for the sake of_G1752 the [one]_G3588 having done wrong,_G0091 rather_G0235 nor_G3761 for the sake of_G1752 the [one]_G3588 having suffered wrong,_G0091 but rather_G0235 for the sake of_G1752 -_G3588 being revealed_G5319 the_G3588 earnestness_G4710 of you,_G4771 which [is]_G3588 for_G5228 us_G1473 to_G4314 you_G4771 before_G1799 -_G3588 God._G2316

13: On account of_G1223 this,_G3778 we have been comforted._G3870 Besides_G1909 now_G1161 the_G3588 comfort_G3874 of us,_G1473 the more abundantly_G4057 rather_G3123 we have rejoiced_G5463 at_G1909 the_G3588 joy_G5479 of Titus,_G5103 because_G3754 has been refreshed_G0373 the_G3588 spirit_G4151 of him_G0846 by_G0575 all_G3956 of you._G4771
