1: And_G2532 it came to pass_G1096 on_G1722 the_G3588 going_G2064 of Him_G0846 into_G1519 a house_G3624 of one_G5100 of the_G3588 rulers_G0758 of the_G3588 Pharisees_G5330 on a Sabbath_G4521 to eat_G5315 bread,_G0740 and_G2532 they_G0846 were_G1510 watching_G3906 Him._G0846

2: And_G2532 behold,_G2400 a man_G0444 certain_G5100 there was_G1510 with dropsy_G5203 before_G1715 Him._G0846

3: And_G2532 answering,_G0611 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 spoke_G2036 to_G4314 the_G3588 lawyers_G3544 and_G2532 to [the] Pharisees,_G5330 saying,_G3004 Is it lawful_G1832 on the_G3588 Sabbath_G4521 to heal_G2323 or_G2228 not?_G3756

4: -_G3588 But_G1161 they were silent._G2270 And_G2532 having taken hold [of him],_G1949 He healed_G2390 him_G0846 and_G2532 let [him] go._G0630

5: And_G2532 to_G4314 them_G0846 He said,_G2036 Which_G5101 of you_G4771 a son_G5207 or_G2228 an ox_G1016 into_G1519 a pit_G5421 will fall,_G4098 also_G2532 not_G3756 immediately_G2112 he will pull up_G0385 him_G0846 on_G1722 day_G2250 the_G3588 Sabbath?_G4521

6: And_G2532 not_G3756 they were able_G2480 to reply_G0470 to_G4314 these things._G3778

7: He was speaking_G2036 then_G1161 to_G4314 those_G3588 having been invited_G2564 a parable,_G3850 remarking_G1907 how_G4459 the_G3588 first places_G4411 they were choosing out,_G1586 saying_G3004 to_G4314 them,_G0846

8: When_G3752 you are invited_G2564 by_G5259 anyone_G5100 to_G1519 wedding feasts,_G1062 not_G3361 do recline_G2625 in_G1519 the_G3588 first place,_G4411 lest_G3361 ever_G4219 [one] more honorable_G1784 than you_G4771 might have been_G1510 invited_G2564 by_G5259 him,_G0846

9: and_G2532 having come,_G2064 the [one]_G3588 you_G4771 and_G2532 him_G0846 having invited_G2564 will say_G2046 to you,_G4771 Give_G1325 to this one_G3778 [your] place,_G5117 and_G2532 then_G5119 you should begin_G0756 with_G3326 shame_G0152 the_G3588 last_G2078 place_G5117 to take._G2722

10: But_G0235 when_G3752 you are invited,_G2564 having gone,_G4198 recline_G0377 in_G1519 the_G3588 last_G2078 place,_G5117 so that_G2443 when_G3752 might come_G2064 the [one]_G3588 having invited_G2564 you,_G4771 he will say_G2046 to you,_G4771 Friend,_G5384 come up_G4320 higher._G0511 Then_G5119 will be_G1510 to you_G4771 glory_G1391 before_G1799 all_G3956 those_G3588 reclining_G4873 [with] you._G4771

11: For_G3754 everyone_G3956 -_G3588 exalting_G5312 himself_G1438 will be humbled,_G5013 and_G2532 the [one]_G3588 humbling_G5013 himself_G1438 will be exalted._G5312

12: He was saying_G2036 then_G1161 also_G2532 to the [one]_G3588 having invited_G2564 Him,_G0846 When_G3752 you make_G4160 a dinner_G0712 or_G2228 a supper,_G1173 not_G3361 call_G5455 -_G3588 friends_G5384 of you,_G4771 nor_G3366 the_G3588 brothers_G0080 of you,_G4771 nor_G3366 the_G3588 relatives_G4773 of you,_G4771 nor_G3366 neighbors_G1069 rich,_G4145 lest_G3361 ever_G4219 also_G2532 they_G0846 should invite in return_G0479 you,_G4771 and_G2532 be made_G1096 recompense_G0468 to you._G4771

13: But_G0235 when_G3752 a feast_G1403 you make,_G4160 call_G2564 the poor,_G4434 the crippled,_G0376 the lame,_G5560 the blind;_G5185

14: and_G2532 blessed_G3107 you will be,_G1510 because_G3754 nothing_G3756 they have_G2192 to repay_G0467 you._G4771 It will be recompensed_G0467 for_G1063 to you_G4771 in_G1722 the_G3588 resurrection_G0386 of the_G3588 righteous._G1342

15: Having heard_G0191 then_G1161 one_G5100 of those_G3588 reclining with [Him]_G4873 these things,_G3778 he said_G2036 to Him,_G0846 Blessed [is he]_G3107 who_G3748 will eat_G5315 bread_G0740 in_G1722 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God._G2316

16: -_G3588 But_G1161 He said_G2036 to him,_G0846 A man_G0444 certain_G5100 was preparing_G4160 a supper_G1173 great,_G3173 and_G2532 invited_G2564 many._G4183

17: And_G2532 he sent_G0649 the_G3588 servant_G1401 of him_G0846 at the_G3588 hour_G5610 of the_G3588 supper_G1173 to say_G2036 to those_G3588 having been invited,_G2564 Come,_G2064 for_G3754 now_G2235 ready_G2092 [it] is._G1510

18: And_G2532 began_G0756 with_G0575 one [voice]_G1520 all_G3956 to excuse themselves._G3868 The_G3588 first_G4413 said_G2036 to him,_G0846 A field_G0068 I have bought,_G0059 and_G2532 I have_G2192 need_G0318 going out_G1831 to see_G3708 it;_G0846 I beg of_G2065 you,_G4771 hold_G2192 me_G1473 excused._G3868

20: And_G2532 another_G2087 said,_G2036 A wife_G1135 I have married,_G1060 and_G2532 because of_G1223 this_G3778 not_G3756 I am able_G1410 to come._G2064

21: And_G2532 having come,_G3854 the_G3588 servant_G1401 reported_G0518 to the_G3588 master_G2962 of him_G0846 these things._G3778 Then_G5119 having become angry,_G3710 the_G3588 master of the house_G3617 said_G2036 to_G3588 servant_G1401 of him,_G0846 Go out_G1831 quickly_G5030 into_G1519 the_G3588 streets_G4113 and_G2532 lanes_G4505 of the_G3588 city,_G4172 and_G2532 the_G3588 poor_G4434 and_G2532 crippled_G0376 and_G2532 blind_G5185 and_G2532 lame_G5560 bring in_G1521 here._G5602

22: And_G2532 said_G2036 the_G3588 servant,_G1401 Sir,_G2962 it has been done_G1096 as_G3739 you did command,_G2004 and_G2532 still_G2089 room_G5117 there is._G1510

23: And_G2532 said_G2036 the_G3588 master_G2962 to_G4314 the_G3588 servant,_G1401 Go out_G1831 into_G1519 the_G3588 highways_G3598 and_G2532 hedges_G5418 and_G2532 compel [them]_G0315 to come in,_G1525 so that_G2443 may be filled_G1072 of me_G1473 the_G3588 house._G3624

24: I say_G3004 for_G1063 to you_G4771 that_G3754 not one_G3762 the_G3588 men_G0435 of those_G1565 -_G3588 having been invited_G2564 will taste_G1089 of me_G1473 the_G3588 supper._G1173

25: Were going with_G4848 then_G1161 Him_G0846 crowds_G3793 great;_G4183 and_G2532 having turned,_G4762 He said_G2036 to_G4314 them,_G0846

26: If_G1487 anyone_G5100 comes_G2064 to_G4314 Me,_G1473 and_G2532 not_G3756 hates_G3404 the_G3588 father_G3962 of himself_G1438 and_G2532 the_G3588 mother_G3384 and_G2532 the_G3588 wife_G1135 and_G2532 the_G3588 children_G5043 and_G2532 the_G3588 brothers_G0080 and_G2532 the_G3588 sisters,_G0079 yes,_G2089 and_G5037 even_G2532 the_G3588 life_G5590 of him,_G1438 not_G3756 he is able_G1410 to be_G1510 of Me_G1473 disciple._G3101

27: Whoever_G3748 not_G3756 carries_G0941 the_G3588 cross_G4716 of himself_G1438 and_G2532 comes_G2064 after_G3694 Me,_G1473 not_G3756 is able_G1410 to be_G1510 My_G1473 disciple._G3101

28: Which_G5101 for_G1063 of_G1537 you,_G4771 desiring_G2309 a tower_G4444 to build,_G3618 not_G3780 first_G4412 having sat down,_G2523 counts_G5585 the_G3588 cost,_G1160 whether_G1487 he has_G2192 for_G1519 [its] completion?_G0535

29: Thus_G2443 not_G3361 ever_G4219 he having laid_G5087 of it_G0846 a foundation,_G2310 and_G2532 not_G3361 being able_G2480 to finish,_G1615 all_G3956 -_G3588 seeing [it]_G2334 may begin_G0756 him_G0846 to mock,_G1702

30: saying_G3004 -,_G3754 This_G3778 -_G3588 man_G0444 began_G0756 to build_G3618 and_G2532 not_G3756 was able_G2480 to finish._G1615

31: Or_G2228 what_G5101 king,_G0935 proceeding_G4198 with another_G2087 king_G0935 to engage_G4820 in_G1519 war,_G4171 not,_G3780 having sat down,_G2523 first_G4412 will take counsel_G1011 whether_G1487 able_G1415 he is_G1510 with_G1722 ten_G1176 thousand_G5505 to meet_G5221 the [one]_G3588 with_G3326 twenty_G1501 thousand_G5505 coming_G2064 against_G1909 him?_G0846

32: If_G1487 now_G1161 not,_G1490 still_G2089 of him_G0846 far off_G4206 being,_G1510 an embassy_G4242 having sent,_G0649 he asks_G2065 -_G3588 for_G4314 peace._G1515

33: So_G3779 therefore_G3767 every one_G3956 of_G1537 you_G4771 who_G3739 not_G3756 does give up_G0657 all_G3956 that_G3588 he himself_G1438 possesses,_G5225 not_G3756 is able_G1410 to be_G1510 My_G1473 disciple._G3101

34: Good [is]_G2570 therefore_G3767 the_G3588 salt;_G0217 if_G1437 however_G1161 even_G2532 the_G3588 salt_G0217 becomes tasteless,_G3471 with_G1722 what_G5101 will it be seasoned?_G0741

35: Neither_G3777 for_G1519 soil_G1093 nor_G3777 for_G1519 manure_G2874 fit_G2111 is it;_G1510 out_G1854 they cast_G0906 it._G0846 The [one]_G3588 having_G2192 ears_G3775 to hear,_G0191 let him hear._G0191
