2: days_G2250 forty_G5062 being tempted_G3985 by_G5259 the_G3588 devil._G1228 And_G2532 not_G3756 He ate_G5315 nothing_G3762 in_G1722 the_G3588 days_G2250 those,_G1565 and_G2532 having ended_G4931 they,_G0846 He was hungry._G3983

3: Said_G2036 then_G1161 to Him_G0846 the_G3588 devil,_G1228 If_G1487 [the] Son_G5207 You are_G1510 -_G3588 of God,_G2316 speak_G2036 to the_G3588 stone_G3037 this,_G3778 that_G2443 it should become_G1096 bread._G0740

4: And_G2532 answered_G0611 to_G4314 him_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus,_G2424 It has been written_G1125 -:_G3754 Not_G3756 on_G1909 bread_G0740 alone_G3441 shall live_G2198 the_G3588 man._G0444 but_G0235 by_G1909 every_G3956 word_G4487 of God._G2316

5: And_G2532 having led up_G0321 Him,_G0846 the_G3588 devil_G1228 into_G1519 a mountain_G3735 high,_G5308 he showed_G1166 Him_G0846 all_G3956 the_G3588 kingdoms_G0932 of the_G3588 world_G3625 in_G1722 a moment_G4743 of time._G5550

6: And_G2532 said_G2036 to Him_G0846 the_G3588 devil,_G1228 To You_G4771 will I give_G1325 the_G3588 authority_G1849 this_G3778 all,_G0537 and_G2532 the_G3588 glory_G1391 of it;_G0846 for_G3754 to me_G1473 it has been delivered,_G3860 and_G2532 to whom_G3739 if_G1437 I wish,_G2309 I give_G1325 it._G0846

7: You_G4771 therefore,_G3767 if_G1437 You will worship_G4352 before_G1799 me,_G1473 will be_G1510 Yours_G4771 all._G3956

8: And_G2532 answering,_G0611 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 said_G2036 to him,_G0846 It has been written:_G1125 You shall worship_G4352 [the] Lord_G2962 -_G3588 God_G2316 of you,_G4771 and_G2532 Him_G0846 only_G3441 you shall serve._G3000

9: He led_G0071 also_G1161 Him_G0846 to_G1519 Jerusalem_G2419 and_G2532 set_G2476 upon_G1909 the_G3588 pinnacle_G4419 of the_G3588 temple,_G2411 and_G2532 said_G2036 to Him,_G0846 If_G1487 [the] Son_G5207 You are_G1510 -_G3588 of God,_G2316 cast_G0906 Yourself_G4572 from here_G1782 down._G2736

10: It has been written_G1125 for_G1063 -:_G3754 To the_G3588 angels_G0032 of Him_G0846 He will give orders_G1781 concerning_G4012 You,_G4771 -_G3588 to guard_G1314 You;_G4771

11: and_G2532 -_G3754 in_G1909 [their] hands_G5495 will they bear_G0142 You,_G4771 lest_G3361 ever_G4219 You strike_G4350 against_G4314 a stone_G3037 the_G3588 foot_G4228 of You._G4771

12: And_G2532 answering,_G0611 said_G2036 to him_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 -,_G3754 It has been said,_G2046 Not_G3756 you shall test_G1598 [the] Lord_G2962 the_G3588 God_G2316 of you._G4771

13: And_G2532 having finished_G4931 every_G3956 temptation,_G3986 the_G3588 devil_G1228 departed_G0868 from_G0575 Him_G0846 until_G0891 an opportune time._G2540

14: And_G2532 returned_G5290 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 in_G1722 the_G3588 power_G1411 of the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 to_G1519 -_G3588 Galilee;_G1056 and_G2532 a report_G5345 went out_G1831 into_G2596 all_G3650 the_G3588 surrounding region_G4066 concerning_G4012 Him._G0846

15: And_G2532 He_G0846 was teaching_G1321 in_G1722 the_G3588 synagogues_G4864 of them,_G0846 being glorified_G1392 by_G5259 all._G3956

16: And_G2532 He came_G2064 to_G1519 Nazareth,_G3478 where_G3757 He had been_G1510 brought up;_G5142 and_G2532 He entered_G1525 according to_G2596 the_G3588 custom_G1486 to Him,_G0846 on_G1722 the_G3588 day_G2250 of the_G3588 Sabbaths,_G4521 into_G1519 the_G3588 synagogue,_G4864 and_G2532 stood up_G0450 to read._G0314

18: [The] Spirit_G4151 of [the] Lord [is]_G2962 upon_G1909 Me,_G1473 of which_G3739 because_G1752 He has anointed_G5548 Me_G1473 to preach good news_G2097 to [the] poor._G4434 He has sent_G0649 Me_G1473 to heal_G2390 the_G3588 broken_G4937 -_G3588 in heart,_G2588 to proclaim_G2784 to [the] captives_G0164 deliverance,_G0859 and_G2532 to [the] blind_G5185 recovery of sight,_G0309 to send forth_G0649 [the] oppressed_G2352 in_G1722 deliverance,_G0859

19: to proclaim_G2784 [the] year_G1763 of [the] Lord’s_G2962 favor._G1184

20: And_G2532 having rolled up_G4428 the_G3588 scroll,_G0975 having delivered [it]_G0591 to the_G3588 attendant,_G5257 He sat down,_G2523 and_G2532 of all_G3956 the_G3588 eyes_G3788 in_G1722 the_G3588 synagogue_G4864 were_G1510 fixed upon_G0816 Him._G0846

21: He began_G0756 then_G1161 to say_G3004 to_G4314 them_G0846 -,_G3754 Today_G4594 is fulfilled_G4137 the_G3588 Scripture_G1124 this,_G3778 in_G1722 the_G3588 hearing_G3775 of you._G4771

22: And_G2532 all_G3956 were bearing witness_G3140 to Him_G0846 and_G2532 marveling_G2296 at_G1909 the_G3588 words_G3056 of the_G3588 grace_G5485 that_G3588 are proceeding_G1607 out of_G1537 the_G3588 mouth_G4750 of Him;_G0846 and_G2532 they were saying,_G2036 Not_G3780 the son_G5207 is_G1510 of Joseph_G2501 this?_G3778

23: And_G2532 He said_G2036 to_G4314 them,_G0846 Surely_G3843 you will say_G2046 to Me_G1473 the_G3588 proverb_G3850 this,_G3778 Physician_G2395 heal_G2323 yourself!_G4572 Whatsoever_G3745 we have heard_G0191 has been done_G1096 in_G1519 -_G3588 Capernaum,_G2584 do_G4160 also_G2532 here_G5602 in_G1722 the_G3588 hometown_G3968 of You._G4771

24: He said_G2036 then,_G1161 Truly_G0281 I say_G3004 to you_G4771 that_G3754 no_G3762 prophet_G4396 acceptable_G1184 is_G1510 in_G1722 the_G3588 hometown_G3968 of him._G0846

25: In_G1909 truth_G0225 now_G1161 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 many_G4183 widows_G5503 there were_G1510 in_G1722 the_G3588 days_G2250 of Elijah_G2243 in_G1722 -_G3588 Israel,_G2474 when_G3753 was shut up_G2808 the_G3588 heaven_G3772 for_G1909 years_G2094 three_G5140 and_G2532 months_G3376 six,_G1803 when_G5613 there was_G1096 a famine_G3042 great_G3173 upon_G1909 all_G3956 the_G3588 land;_G1093

26: and_G2532 to_G4314 none_G3762 of them_G0846 was sent_G3992 Elijah,_G2243 if_G1487 not_G3361 to_G1519 Zarephath_G4558 -_G3588 of Sidon,_G4606 to_G4314 a woman,_G1135 a widow._G5503

27: And_G2532 many_G4183 lepers_G3015 were_G1510 in_G1722 -_G3588 Israel_G2474 in the time_G1909 of Elisha_G1666 the_G3588 prophet,_G4396 and_G2532 none_G3762 of them_G0846 was cleansed,_G2511 if_G1487 not_G3361 Naaman_G3497 the_G3588 Syrian._G4948

28: And_G2532 were filled_G4130 all_G3956 with anger_G2372 in_G1722 the_G3588 synagogue,_G4864 hearing_G0191 these things;_G3778

29: and_G2532 having risen up,_G0450 they cast_G1544 Him_G0846 out_G1854 of [the]_G3588 city_G4172 and_G2532 led_G0071 Him_G0846 unto_G2193 brow_G3790 of the_G3588 hill_G3735 upon_G1909 which_G3739 the_G3588 town_G4172 had been built_G3618 of them,_G0846 in order_G5620 to throw over_G2630 him;_G0846

30: He_G0846 however,_G1161 having passed_G1330 through_G1223 [the] midst_G3319 of them,_G0846 went away._G4198

31: And_G2532 He went down_G2718 to_G1519 Capernaum,_G2584 a city_G4172 -_G3588 of Galilee._G1056 And_G2532 He was_G1510 teaching_G1321 them_G0846 on_G1722 the_G3588 Sabbaths;_G4521

32: and_G2532 they were astonished_G1605 at_G1909 the_G3588 teaching_G1322 of Him,_G0846 for_G3754 with_G1722 authority_G1849 was_G1510 the_G3588 message_G3056 of Him._G0846

33: And_G2532 in_G1722 the_G3588 synagogue_G4864 was_G1510 a man_G0444 having_G2192 a spirit_G4151 of a demon_G1140 unclean;_G0169 and_G2532 he cried out_G0349 in a voice_G5456 loud,_G3173

34: Ha!_G1436 What_G5101 to us_G1473 and_G2532 to You,_G4771 Jesus,_G2424 of Nazareth?_G3479 Are You come_G2064 to destroy_G0622 us?_G1473 I know_G1492 You_G4771 who_G5101 are,_G1510 the_G3588 Holy [One]_G0040 -_G3588 of God._G2316

35: And_G2532 rebuked_G2008 him_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus,_G2424 saying,_G3004 Be silent_G5392 and_G2532 come forth_G1831 out of_G0575 him!_G0846 And_G2532 having thrown_G4496 him_G0846 the_G3588 demon_G1140 into_G1519 the_G3588 midst,_G3319 it came out_G1831 from_G0575 him,_G0846 in nothing_G3367 having hurt_G0984 him._G0846

36: And_G2532 came_G1096 astonishment_G2285 upon_G1909 all,_G3956 and_G2532 they were speaking_G4814 to_G4314 one another,_G0240 saying,_G3004 What_G5101 -_G3588 word_G3056 [is] this,_G3778 that_G3754 with_G1722 authority_G1849 and_G2532 power_G1411 He commands_G2004 the_G3588 unclean_G0169 spirits,_G4151 and_G2532 they come out?_G1831

37: And_G2532 was spreading_G1607 the report_G2279 concerning_G4012 Him_G0846 into_G1519 every_G3956 place_G5117 of the_G3588 surrounding region._G4066

38: Having risen up_G0450 then_G1161 out of_G0575 the_G3588 synagogue,_G4864 He entered_G1525 into_G1519 the_G3588 house_G3614 of Simon._G4613 [The] mother-in-law_G3994 then_G1161 -_G3588 of Simon_G4613 was_G1510 oppressed with_G4912 a fever_G4446 great;_G3173 and_G2532 they appealed_G2065 to Him_G0846 for_G4012 her._G0846

39: And_G2532 having stood_G2186 over_G1883 her,_G0846 He rebuked_G2008 the_G3588 fever,_G4446 and_G2532 it left_G0863 her;_G0846 immediately_G3916 then_G1161 having arisen,_G0450 she began to serve_G1247 them._G0846

40: At the setting_G1416 now_G1161 of the_G3588 sun,_G2246 all_G0537 as many as_G3745 had [any]_G2192 ailing_G0770 with diseases_G3554 various,_G4164 brought_G0071 them_G0846 to_G4314 Him,_G0846 -_G3588 and_G1161 on one_G1520 each_G1538 of them,_G0846 the_G3588 hands_G5495 having laid,_G2007 He would heal_G2323 them._G0846

41: Were going out_G1831 now_G1161 also_G2532 demons_G1140 from_G0575 many,_G4183 crying out_G2905 and_G2532 saying_G3004 -,_G3754 You_G4771 are_G1510 the_G3588 Son_G5207 -_G3588 of God._G2316 And_G2532 rebuking [them],_G2008 not_G3756 did He allow_G1439 them_G0846 to speak,_G2980 because_G3754 they knew_G1492 the_G3588 Christ_G5547 Him_G0846 to be._G1510

42: Having arrived_G1096 now_G1161 daybreak,_G2250 having gone out,_G1831 He went_G4198 into_G1519 a solitary_G2048 place,_G5117 and_G2532 the_G3588 crowds_G3793 were seeking_G1934 Him,_G0846 and_G2532 they came_G2064 up to_G2193 Him_G0846 and_G2532 were detaining_G2722 Him,_G0846 of the_G3588 not_G3361 to go_G4198 from_G0575 them._G0846

43: -_G3588 But_G1161 He said_G2036 to_G4314 them_G0846 -,_G3754 Also_G2532 to the_G3588 other_G2087 towns_G4172 to preach [the] good news_G2097 Me_G1473 it behooves,_G1163 of the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God;_G2316 because_G3754 for_G1909 this_G3778 have I been sent forth._G0649

44: And_G2532 He was_G1510 preaching_G2784 in_G1519 the_G3588 synagogues_G4864 -_G3588 of Judea._G2449
