7: On account of_G1752 this,_G3778 will leave_G2641 a man_G0444 the_G3588 father_G3962 of him_G0846 and_G2532 -_G3588 mother_G3384 and_G2532 be joined_G4347 to_G4314 -_G3588 wife_G1135 his,_G0846

8: and_G2532 will be_G1510 the_G3588 two_G1417 for_G1519 flesh_G4561 one._G1520 Therefore_G5620 no longer_G3765 they are_G1510 two,_G1417 but_G0235 one_G1520 flesh._G4561

9: What_G3739 therefore_G3767 -_G3588 God_G2316 has joined together,_G4801 man_G0444 not_G3361 let separate._G5563

10: And_G2532 in_G1519 the_G3588 house_G3614 again,_G3825 the_G3588 disciples_G3101 concerning_G4012 this_G3778 were asking_G1905 Him._G0846

11: And_G2532 He says_G3004 to them,_G0846 Whoever_G3739 -_G0302 shall divorce_G0630 the_G3588 wife_G1135 of him,_G0846 and_G2532 shall marry_G1060 another,_G0243 commits adultery_G3429 against_G1909 her._G0846

12: And_G2532 if_G1437 a woman,_G0846 having divorced_G0630 the_G3588 husband_G0435 of her,_G0846 should marry_G1060 another,_G0243 she commits adultery._G3429

13: And_G2532 they were bringing_G4374 to Him_G0846 little children,_G3813 that_G2443 them_G0846 He might touch._G0680 -_G3588 But_G1161 the disciples_G3101 rebuked_G2008 them._G0846

14: Having seen_G3708 now,_G1161 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 was indignant_G0023 and_G2532 said_G2036 to them,_G0846 Permit_G0863 the_G3588 little children_G3813 to come_G2064 to_G4314 Me;_G1473 not_G3361 do hinder_G2967 them!_G0846 To the_G3588 for_G1063 such,_G5108 belongs_G1510 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God._G2316

15: Truly_G0281 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 whoever_G3739 -_G0302 not_G3361 shall receive_G1209 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God_G2316 as_G5613 a child,_G3813 no_G3756 not_G3361 shall enter_G1525 into_G1519 it._G0846

16: And_G2532 having taken [them] in arms,_G1723 them_G0846 He was blessing,_G2127 having laid_G5087 the_G3588 hands_G5495 on_G1909 them._G0846

17: And_G2532 going forth_G1607 of Him_G0846 on_G1519 [the] journey,_G3598 having run up_G4370 one_G1520 and_G2532 having knelt down to_G1120 Him,_G0846 was asking_G1905 Him,_G0846 Teacher_G1320 good,_G0018 what_G5101 shall I do,_G4160 that_G2443 life_G2222 eternal_G0166 I might inherit?_G2816

18: -_G3588 And_G1161 Jesus_G2424 said_G2036 to him,_G0846 Why_G5101 Me_G1473 call you_G3004 good?_G0018 No one [is]_G3762 good,_G0018 if_G1487 not_G3361 alone_G1520 -_G3588 God._G2316

19: The_G3588 commandments_G1785 you know:_G1492 Not_G3361 shall you murder,_G5407 not_G3361 shall you commit adultery,_G3431 not_G3361 shall you steal,_G2813 not_G3361 shall you bear false witness,_G5576 not_G3361 shall you defraud,_G0650 you shall honor_G5091 the_G3588 father_G3962 of you_G4771 and_G2532 the_G3588 mother._G3384

20: -_G3588 And_G1161 he was saying_G5346 to Him,_G0846 Teacher,_G1320 these_G3778 all_G3956 I have kept_G5442 from_G1537 [the] youth_G3503 of me._G1473

21: -_G3588 And_G1161 Jesus,_G2424 having looked upon_G1689 him,_G0846 loved_G0025 him_G0846 and_G2532 said_G2036 to him,_G0846 One thing_G1520 to you_G4771 is lacking._G5302 Go,_G5217 as much as_G3745 you have_G2192 sell,_G4453 and_G2532 give_G1325 to the_G3588 poor,_G4434 and_G2532 you will have_G2192 treasure_G2344 in_G1722 heaven;_G3772 and_G2532 come,_G1204 follow_G0190 Me._G1473

23: And_G2532 having looked around,_G4017 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 says_G3004 the_G3588 disciples_G3101 of Him,_G0846 How_G4459 difficultly_G1423 those_G3588 -_G3588 riches_G5536 having,_G2192 into_G1519 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God_G2316 will enter!_G1525

24: -_G3588 And_G1161 the disciples_G3101 were astonished_G2284 at_G1909 the_G3588 words_G3056 of Him._G0846 -_G3588 But_G1161 Jesus,_G2424 again_G3825 answering,_G0611 says_G3004 to them,_G0846 Children,_G5043 how_G4459 difficult_G1422 it is_G1510 into_G1519 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God_G2316 to enter!_G1525 those who_G3588 trust_G3982 in_G1909 riches—_G5536

25: Easier_G2123 it is_G1510 [for] a camel_G2574 through_G1223 the_G3588 eye_G5168 of the_G3588 needle_G4476 to pass,_G1330 than [for]_G2228 a rich man_G4145 into_G1519 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of God_G2316 to enter._G1525

26: -_G3588 And_G1161 exceedingly_G4057 they were astonished,_G1605 saying_G3004 among_G4314 themselves,_G1438 Then_G2532 who_G5101 is able_G1410 to be saved?_G4982

27: Having looked on_G1689 them,_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 says,_G3004 With_G3844 men_G0444 [it is] impossible,_G0102 but_G0235 not_G3756 with_G3844 God;_G2316 all things_G3956 for_G1063 [are] possible_G1415 with_G3844 -_G3588 God._G2316

28: Began_G0756 to say_G3004 -_G3588 Peter_G4074 to Him,_G0846 Behold,_G2400 we_G1473 have left_G0863 all_G3956 and_G2532 followed_G0190 You._G4771

29: Was saying_G5346 -_G3588 Jesus,_G2424 Truly_G0281 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 no one_G3762 there is_G1510 who_G3739 has left_G0863 house,_G3614 or_G2228 brothers,_G0080 or_G2228 sisters,_G0079 or_G2228 mother,_G3384 or_G2228 father,_G3962 or_G2228 children,_G5043 or_G2228 lands,_G0068 for the sake_G1752 of me_G1473 and_G2532 because_G1752 of the_G3588 gospel,_G2098

30: if_G1437 not_G3361 shall take_G2983 a hundredfold_G1542 now_G3568 in_G1722 the_G3588 time_G2540 this—_G3778 houses_G3614 and_G2532 brothers_G0080 and_G2532 sisters_G0079 and_G2532 mothers_G3384 and_G2532 children_G5043 and_G2532 lands,_G0068 with_G3326 persecutions—_G1375 and_G2532 in_G1722 the_G3588 age_G0165 which_G3588 is coming,_G2064 life_G2222 eternal._G0166

31: Many_G4183 however_G1161 will be_G1510 first,_G4413 last;_G2078 and_G2532 the_G3588 last,_G2078 first._G4413

32: They were_G1510 then_G1161 on_G1722 the_G3588 way,_G3598 going up_G0305 to_G1519 Jerusalem,_G2414 and_G2532 was_G1510 going on before_G4254 them_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus,_G2424 and_G2532 they were astonished;_G2284 those_G3588 then_G1161 following_G0190 were afraid._G5399 And_G2532 having taken to [Him]_G3880 again_G3825 the_G3588 Twelve,_G1427 He began_G0756 them_G0846 to tell_G3004 the things_G3588 being about_G3195 to Him_G0846 to happen:_G4819

33: -_G3754 Behold,_G2400 we go up_G0305 to_G1519 Jerusalem,_G2414 and_G2532 the_G3588 Son_G5207 -_G3588 of Man_G0444 will be betrayed_G3860 to the_G3588 chief priests_G0749 and_G2532 to the_G3588 scribes,_G1122 and_G2532 they will condemn_G2632 Him_G0846 to death,_G2288 and_G2532 will betray_G3860 Him_G0846 to the_G3588 Gentiles._G1484

34: And_G2532 they will mock_G1702 Him,_G0846 and_G2532 will spit upon_G1716 Him,_G0846 and_G2532 will flog_G3146 Him,_G0846 and_G2532 will kill,_G0615 and_G2532 on the_G3326 third_G5140 day_G2250 He will rise again._G0450

35: And_G2532 come up_G4365 to Him_G0846 James_G2385 and_G2532 John,_G2491 the_G3588 two_G1417 sons_G5207 of Zebedee,_G2199 saying to_G3004 Him,_G0846 Teacher,_G1320 we desire_G2309 that_G2443 whatever_G3739 if_G1437 we might ask_G0154 you,_G4771 You would do_G4160 for us._G1473

36: -_G3588 And_G1161 He said_G2036 to them,_G0846 What_G5101 do you desire_G2309 Me_G1473 to do_G4160 for you?_G4771

37: -_G3588 And_G1161 they said_G2036 to Him,_G0846 Grant_G1325 to us_G1473 that_G2443 one_G1520 of [us]_G4771 at_G1537 [Your] right hand,_G1188 and_G2532 one_G1520 at_G1537 [Your] left hand,_G0710 we might sit_G2523 in_G1722 the_G3588 glory_G1391 of You._G4771

38: -_G3588 And_G1161 Jesus_G2424 said_G2036 to them,_G0846 Not_G3756 you know_G1492 what_G5101 you ask._G0154 Are you able_G1410 to drink_G4095 the_G3588 cup_G4221 which_G3739 I_G1473 drink,_G4095 and_G2228 the_G3588 baptism_G0908 which_G3739 I_G1473 am baptized,_G0907 to be baptized [with]?_G0907

39: -_G3588 And_G1161 they said_G2036 to Him,_G0846 We are able._G1410 -_G3588 And_G1161 Jesus_G2424 said_G2036 to them,_G0846 The_G3588 cup_G4221 which_G3739 I_G1473 drink,_G4095 you will drink;_G4095 and_G2532 the_G3588 baptism_G0908 which_G3739 I_G1473 am baptized,_G0907 you will be baptized [with];_G0907

40: -_G3588 but_G1161 to sit_G2523 at_G1537 [the] right hand_G1188 of Me_G1473 or_G2228 at_G1537 [the] left hand,_G2176 not_G3756 is_G1510 Mine_G1699 to give,_G1325 but [to those]_G0235 for whom_G3739 it has been prepared._G2090

41: And_G2532 having heard [this],_G0191 the_G3588 ten_G1176 began_G0756 to be indignant_G0023 about_G4012 James_G2385 and_G2532 John._G2491

42: And_G2532 having called near_G4341 them,_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 says_G3004 to them,_G0846 You know_G1492 that_G3754 those_G3588 being accounted_G1380 to rule over_G0757 the_G3588 Gentiles_G1484 exercise lordship over_G2634 them;_G0846 and_G2532 those_G3588 great ones_G3173 of them_G0846 exercise authority over_G2715 them._G0846

43: Not_G3756 thus_G3779 however_G1161 shall it be_G1510 among_G1722 you._G4771 Instead,_G0235 whoever_G3739 -_G0302 desires_G2309 great_G3173 to become_G1096 among_G1722 you,_G4771 will be_G1510 your_G4771 servant;_G1249

44: and_G2532 whoever_G3739 -_G0302 desires_G2309 among_G1722 you_G4771 to become_G1510 first,_G4413 will be_G1510 of all_G3956 slave._G1401

45: Even_G2532 for_G1063 the_G3588 Son_G5207 -_G3588 of Man_G0444 not_G3756 came_G2064 to be served,_G1247 but_G0235 to serve,_G1247 and_G2532 to give_G1325 the_G3588 life_G5590 of Him_G0846 [as] a ransom_G3083 for_G0473 many._G4183

46: And_G2532 they come_G2064 to_G1519 Jericho._G2410 And_G2532 as was going out_G1607 He_G0846 from_G0575 Jericho—_G2410 and_G2532 the_G3588 disciples_G3101 of Him,_G0846 and_G2532 a crowd_G3793 large—_G2425 the_G3588 son_G5207 of Timaeus,_G5090 Bartimaeus,_G0924 blind_G5185 beggar,_G4319 was sitting_G2521 beside_G3844 the_G3588 road._G3598

47: And_G2532 having heard_G0191 that_G3754 Jesus_G2424 of_G3588 Nazareth_G3479 it is,_G1510 he began_G0756 to cry out_G2896 and_G2532 to say,_G3004 Son_G5207 of David,_G1138 Jesus,_G2424 have mercy on_G1653 me._G1473

48: And_G2532 were rebuking_G2008 him_G0846 many_G4183 that_G2443 he should be silent;_G4623 -_G3588 but_G1161 much_G4183 more_G3123 he kept crying out,_G2896 Son_G5207 of David,_G1138 have mercy on_G1653 me._G1473

49: And_G2532 having stopped,_G2476 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 commanded_G2036 to be called_G5455 him._G0846 And_G2532 they call_G5455 the_G3588 blind [man],_G5185 saying_G3004 to him,_G0846 Take courage!_G2293 Rise up!_G1453 He calls_G5455 you._G4771

50: -_G3588 And_G1161 having cast away_G0577 the_G3588 cloak_G2440 of him,_G0846 having risen up,_G1530 he came_G2064 to_G4314 -_G3588 Jesus._G2424

51: And_G2532 answering_G0611 him,_G0846 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 says,_G2036 What_G5101 to you_G4771 do you desire_G2309 I should do?_G4160 -_G3588 And_G1161 the blind [man]_G5185 said_G2036 to Him,_G0846 Rabboni,_G4462 that_G2443 I may receive sight._G0308

52: And_G2532 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 said_G2036 to him,_G0846 Go,_G5217 the_G3588 faith_G4102 of you_G4771 has healed_G4982 you._G4771 And_G2532 immediately_G2112 he received sight,_G0308 and_G2532 he began following_G0190 Him_G0846 on_G1722 the_G3588 way._G3598
