34: And_G2532 having called to [Him]_G4341 the_G3588 crowd_G3793 with_G4862 the_G3588 disciples_G3101 of Him,_G0846 He said_G2036 to them,_G0846 If_G1487 anyone_G5100 desires_G2309 after_G3694 Me_G1473 to come,_G2064 let him deny_G0533 himself,_G1438 and_G2532 let him take up_G0142 the_G3588 cross_G4716 of him,_G0846 and_G2532 let him follow_G0190 Me._G1473

35: Whoever_G3739 for_G1063 if_G1437 might desire_G2309 -_G3588 life_G5590 his_G0846 to save,_G4982 will lose_G0622 it;_G0846 whoever_G3739 now_G1161 -_G0302 will lose_G0622 the_G3588 life_G5590 of him_G0846 on account of_G1752 Me_G1473 and_G2532 of the_G3588 gospel,_G2098 he will save_G4982 it._G0846

36: What_G5101 for_G1063 does it profit_G5623 a man_G0444 to gain_G2770 the_G3588 world_G2889 whole_G3650 and_G2532 to lose_G2210 the_G3588 soul_G5590 of him?_G0846

37: What_G5101 for_G1063 shall give_G1325 a man_G0444 [as] an exchange_G0465 for the_G3588 soul_G5590 of him?_G0846

38: Whoever_G3739 for_G1063 if_G1437 may be ashamed of_G1870 Me_G1473 and_G2532 -_G3588 My_G1699 words_G3056 in_G1722 the_G3588 generation_G1074 this_G3778 -_G3588 adulterous_G3428 and_G2532 sinful,_G0268 also_G2532 the_G3588 Son_G5207 -_G3588 of Man_G0444 will be ashamed of_G1870 him_G0846 when_G3752 He shall come_G2064 in_G1722 the_G3588 glory_G1391 of the_G3588 Father_G3962 of Him,_G0846 with_G3326 the_G3588 angels_G0032 -_G3588 holy._G0040
