2: When_G3752 therefore_G3767 you do_G4160 acts of charity,_G1654 not_G3361 do sound a trumpet_G4537 before_G1715 you,_G4771 as_G5618 the_G3588 hypocrites_G5273 do_G4160 in_G1722 the_G3588 synagogues_G4864 and_G2532 in_G1722 the_G3588 streets,_G4505 so that_G3704 they may have glory_G1392 from_G5259 -_G3588 men._G0444 Truly_G0281 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 they have_G0568 the_G3588 reward_G3408 of them._G0846

3: You_G4771 however_G1161 doing_G4160 charity,_G1654 not_G3361 let know_G1097 the_G3588 left [hand]_G0710 of you_G4771 what_G5101 is doing_G4160 the_G3588 right hand_G1188 of you,_G4771

4: so that_G3704 may be_G1510 your_G4771 -_G3588 giving_G1654 in_G1722 -_G3588 secret._G2927 And_G2532 the_G3588 Father_G3962 of you,_G4771 the [One]_G3588 seeing_G0991 in_G1722 -_G3588 secret,_G2927 will reward_G0591 you._G4771

5: And_G2532 when_G3752 you pray,_G4336 not_G3756 you shall be_G1510 like_G5613 the_G3588 hypocrites,_G5273 for_G3754 they love_G5368 in_G1722 the_G3588 synagogues_G4864 and_G2532 on_G1722 the_G3588 corners_G1137 of the_G3588 streets_G4113 standing_G2476 to pray,_G4336 so that_G3704 they might be seen_G5316 -_G3588 by men._G0444 Truly_G0281 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 they have_G0568 the_G3588 reward_G3408 of them._G0846

6: You_G4771 however,_G1161 when_G3752 you pray,_G4336 enter_G1525 into_G1519 the_G3588 room_G5009 of you,_G4771 and_G2532 having shut_G2808 the_G3588 door_G2374 of you,_G4771 pray_G4336 to_G3588 Father_G3962 of you,_G4771 the [One]_G3588 in_G1722 -_G3588 secret._G2927 And_G2532 the_G3588 Father_G3962 of you,_G4771 the [One]_G3588 seeing_G0991 in_G1722 -_G3588 secret,_G2927 will reward_G0591 you._G4771

7: Praying_G4336 now_G1161 not_G3361 do use vain repetitions,_G0945 like_G5618 the_G3588 pagans,_G1482 they think_G1380 for_G1063 that_G3754 in_G1722 the_G3588 many words_G4180 of them_G0846 they will be heard._G1522

8: Not_G3361 therefore_G3767 be like_G3666 to them,_G0846 knows_G1492 for_G1063 -_G3588 God_G2316 the_G3588 Father_G3962 of you_G4771 of what things_G3739 need_G5532 you have,_G2192 before_G4253 -_G3588 your_G4771 asking_G0154 Him._G0846

9: Thus_G3779 therefore_G3767 pray_G4336 you:_G4771 Father_G3962 of us,_G1473 who [is]_G3588 in_G1722 the_G3588 heavens,_G3772 hallowed be_G0037 the_G3588 name_G3686 of You._G4771

10: Come_G2064 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 of You;_G4771 be done_G1096 the_G3588 will_G2307 of You,_G4771 as_G5613 in_G1722 heaven,_G3772 [so] also_G2532 upon_G1909 earth._G1093

16: Whenever_G3752 now_G1161 you fast,_G3522 not_G3361 be_G1096 like_G5613 the_G3588 hypocrites,_G5273 gloomy;_G4659 they disfigure_G0853 for_G1063 the_G3588 appearance_G4383 of them,_G0846 so that_G3704 they might appear_G5316 -_G3588 to men_G0444 [as] fasting._G3522 Truly_G0281 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 they have_G0568 the_G3588 reward_G3408 of them._G0846

17: You_G4771 however,_G1161 fasting,_G3522 anoint_G0218 your_G4771 -_G3588 head_G2776 and_G2532 the_G3588 face_G4383 of you_G4771 wash,_G3538

18: so that_G3704 not_G3361 you might appear_G5316 -_G3588 to men_G0444 [as] fasting,_G3522 but_G0235 -_G3588 to Father_G3962 your_G4771 the [One]_G3588 in_G1722 -_G3588 secret;_G2927 and_G2532 the_G3588 Father_G3962 of you,_G4771 the [One]_G3588 seeing_G0991 in_G1722 -_G3588 secret,_G2927 will reward_G0591 you._G4771

19: Not_G3361 store up_G2343 for yourselves_G4771 treasures_G2344 upon_G1909 the_G3588 earth,_G1093 where_G3699 moth_G4597 and_G2532 rust_G1035 destroy,_G0853 and_G2532 where_G3699 thieves_G2812 break in_G1358 and_G2532 steal;_G2813

20: store up_G2343 however_G1161 for yourselves_G4771 treasures_G2344 in_G1722 heaven,_G3772 where_G3699 neither_G3777 moth_G4597 nor_G3777 rust_G1035 destroy,_G0853 and_G2532 where_G3699 thieves_G2812 not_G3756 do break in_G1358 nor_G3761 steal._G2813

21: Where_G3699 for_G1063 is_G1510 the_G3588 treasure_G2344 of you,_G4771 there_G1563 will be_G1510 also_G2532 the_G3588 heart_G2588 of you._G4771

22: The_G3588 lamp_G3088 of the_G3588 body_G4983 is_G1510 the_G3588 eye._G3788 If_G1437 therefore_G3767 is_G1510 the_G3588 eye_G3788 of you_G4771 clear,_G0573 [the] whole_G3650 -_G3588 body_G4983 of you_G4771 full of light_G5460 will be._G1510

23: If_G1437 however_G1161 the_G3588 eye_G3788 of you_G4771 evil_G4190 is,_G1510 all_G3650 the_G3588 body_G4983 of you_G4771 full of darkness_G4652 will be._G1510 If_G1487 then_G3767 the_G3588 light_G5457 that [is]_G3588 within_G1722 you_G4771 darkness_G4655 is,_G1510 that_G3588 darkness_G4655 how great!_G4214

24: No one_G3762 is able_G1410 two_G1417 masters_G2962 to serve;_G1398 either_G2228 for_G1063 the_G3588 one_G1520 he will hate,_G3404 and_G2532 the_G3588 other_G2087 he will love;_G0025 or_G2228 [the] one_G1520 he will be devoted to,_G0472 and_G2532 the_G3588 other_G2087 he will despise._G2706 Not_G3756 you are able_G1410 God_G2316 to serve,_G1398 and_G2532 money._G3126

26: Look_G1689 at_G1519 the_G3588 birds_G4071 of the_G3588 air,_G3772 that_G3754 not_G3756 they sow,_G4687 nor_G3761 do they reap,_G2325 nor_G3761 do they gather_G4863 into_G1519 barns—_G0596 and_G2532 the_G3588 Father_G3962 of you_G4771 -_G3588 Heavenly_G3770 feeds_G5142 them._G0846 Not_G3756 you_G4771 much_G3123 are more valuable_G1308 than they?_G0846

27: Who_G5101 now_G1161 from_G1537 you_G4771 being anxious_G3309 is able_G1410 to add_G4369 to_G1909 the_G3588 lifespan_G2244 of him_G0846 hour_G4083 one?_G1520

28: And_G2532 about_G4012 clothing_G1742 why_G5101 are you anxious?_G3309 Observe_G2648 the_G3588 lilies_G2918 of the_G3588 field,_G0068 how_G4459 they grow:_G0837 [They do] not_G3756 labor_G2872 nor_G3761 do they spin._G3514

29: I say_G3004 however_G1161 to you_G4771 that_G3754 not even_G3761 Solomon_G4672 in_G1722 all_G3956 the_G3588 glory_G1391 of him_G0846 was adorned_G4016 like_G5613 one_G1520 of these._G3778

30: If_G1487 however_G1161 the_G3588 grass_G5528 of the_G3588 field,_G0068 today_G4594 being [here],_G1510 and_G2532 tomorrow_G0839 into_G1519 the furnace_G2823 being thrown,_G0906 -_G3588 God_G2316 thus_G3779 clothes,_G0294 [will He] not_G3756 much_G4183 more_G3123 you,_G4771 O [you] of little faith?_G3640

31: Not_G3361 therefore_G3767 be anxious,_G3309 saying,_G3004 What_G5101 shall we eat?_G5315 Or_G2228 what_G5101 shall we drink?_G4095 Or_G2228 what_G5101 shall we wear?_G4016

32: All_G3956 for_G1063 these things_G3778 the_G3588 Gentiles_G1484 seek after;_G1934 knows_G1492 for_G1063 the_G3588 Father_G3962 of you_G4771 -_G3588 Heavenly_G3770 that_G3754 you have need_G5535 of them_G3778 all._G0537

33: Seek_G2212 however_G1161 first_G4412 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 of_G3588 God_G2316 and_G2532 the_G3588 righteousness_G1343 of Him,_G0846 and_G2532 these things_G3778 all_G3956 will be added_G4369 to you._G4771

34: Not_G3361 therefore_G3767 be anxious_G3309 about_G1519 things_G3588 tomorrow,_G0839 -_G3588 for_G1063 tomorrow_G0839 will be anxious about_G3309 itself._G1438 Sufficient_G0713 to the_G3588 day [is]_G2250 the_G3588 trouble_G2549 of it._G0846
