Amos 2

1: Thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh-_H3068 for_H5921 three_H7969 transgressions_H6588 of Moab,_H4124 for_H5921 four,_H0702 not_H3808 I will turn away its [punishment]_H7725 because_H5921 he burned_H8313 the bones_H6106 of the king_H4428 of Edom_H0123 to lime._H7875

2: But I will send_H7971 a fire_H0784 upon Moab,_H4124 and it shall devour_H0398 the palaces_H0759 of Kerioth-_H7152 and shall die_H4191 with tumult,_H7588 Moab_H4124 with shouting,_H8643 [and] sound_H6963 trumpet._H7782

3: And I will cut off_H3772 the judge_H8199 from its midst_H7130 and all_H3605 its princes_H8269 slay_H2026 with him_H5973 says_H0559 Yahweh._H3068

4: Thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh_H3069 for_H5921 three_H7969 transgressions_H6588 of Judah,_H3063 for_H5921 four,_H0702 not_H3808 I will turn away its [punishment]_H7725 because_H5921 they have despised_H3988 -_H0853 the law of_H8451 Yahweh_H3069 and His commandments,_H2706 not_H3808 have kept_H8104 and lead them astray,_H8582 their lies_H3577 [Lies] which_H0834 followed_H1980 their fathers_H0001 after._H0310

5: But I will send_H7971 a fire_H0784 upon Judah,_H3063 and it shall devour_H0398 the palaces_H0759 of Jerusalem._H3389

6: Thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh-_H3068 for_H5921 three_H7969 transgressions_H6588 of Israel,_H3478 for_H5921 four,_H0702 not_H3808 I will turn away its [punishment]_H7725 because_H5921 they sell_H4376 for silver,_H3701 the righteous_H6662 and the poor_H0034 for_H5668 a pair of sandals-_H5275

7: they pant_H7602 after_H5921 the dust_H6083 of the earth_H0776 [which is] on the head_H7218 of the poor,_H1800 and the way_H1870 of the humble-_H6035 pervert_H5186 and a man_H0376 and his father_H0001 go in_H1980 to_H0413 the [same] girl,_H5291 to_H4616 defile_H2490 -_H0853 name_H8034 My holy._H6944

8: And on_H5921 clothes_H0899 taken in pledge_H2254 they lie down_H5186 by_H0681 every_H3605 altar,_H4196 and the wine_H3196 of the condemned_H6064 drink_H8354 [in] the house_H1004 of their god._H0430

9: And yet [it was] I_H0595 [who] destroyed_H8045 -_H0853 the Amorite_H0567 before them_H6440 Whose_H0834 like height [was]_H1363 the cedars,_H0730 the height_H1363 and [as] strong_H2634 he [was]_H1931 as the oaks-_H0437 and yet I destroyed_H8045 his fruit_H6529 above,_H4605 and his roots_H8328 beneath._H8478

10: And [it was] I_H0595 [who] brought up_H5927 you_H0853 from the land_H0776 of Egypt,_H4714 and led_H1980 you_H0853 through the wilderness,_H4057 forty_H0705 years_H8141 to possess_H3423 -_H0853 the land_H0776 of the Amorite._H0567

11: And I raised up_H6965 some of your sons_H1121 as prophets,_H5030 and some of your young men_H0970 as Nazirites._H5139 [Is_H0637 [it] not_H0369 this,_H2063 you sons_H1121 of Israel?_H3478 says_H5002 Yahweh._H3068

12: But you gave to drink-_H8248 -_H0853 the Nazirites_H5139 wine_H3196 and_H5921 the prophets,_H5030 commanded_H6680 saying,_H0559 not_H3808 do prophesy._H5012

13: Behold,_H2009 I_H0595 am weighed down_H5781 by you_H8478 as_H0834 is weighed down_H5781 a cart_H5699 full_H4395 sheaves._H5995

14: Therefore shall perish_H0006 flight_H4498 from the swift,_H7031 and the strong_H2389 not_H3808 shall strengthen_H0553 his power,_H3581 and the mighty_H1368 nor_H3808 shall deliver_H4422 himself._H5315

15: And who handles_H8610 the bow-_H7198 not_H3808 He shall stand_H5975 and the swift_H7031 of foot_H7272 not_H3808 shall escape_H4422 and he who rides_H7392 a horse_H5483 nor_H3808 shall deliver_H4422 himself._H5315

16: And [most] strong_H0533 the men_H3820 of might_H1368 naked_H6174 shall flee_H5127 in day,_H3117 that_H1931 says_H5002 Yahweh._H3068
