5: And shall become strong,H2388 the kingH4428 of the southH5045 and as well as [one]H4480 of his princes-H8269 and he shall gain powerH2388 over himH5921 and have dominion-H4910 a dominionH4474 greatH7227 His dominion [shall be].H4475
6: And at the endH7093 of [some] yearsH8141 they shall join forces-H2266 for the daughterH1323 of the kingH4428 of the southH5045 shall goH0935 toH0413 the kingH4428 of the NorthH6828 to makeH6213 an agreement-H4339 but notH3808 she shall retainH6113 the powerH3581 of her authority-H2220 and neitherH3808 he shall stand,H5975 nor his authority,H2220 but shall be given up,H5414 sheH1931 and with those who brought herH0935 and with him who begat herH3205 and with him who strengthened herH2388 in [those] times.H6256
7: But [one] shall ariseH5975 from a branchH5342 of her rootsH8328 in his place,H3653 and who shall comeH0935 withH0413 an army,H2428 and enterH0935 the fortressH4581 of the kingH4428 of the North,H6828 and dealH6213 and prevail-H2388
8: and alsoH1571 their gods,H0430 withH5973 their princes,H5257 withH5973 [and] articlesH3627 of their preciousH2532 silverH3701 and gold-H2091 captiveH7628 he shall carryH0935 to EgyptH4714 and heH1931 [more] yearsH8141 shall continueH5975 than the kingH4428 of the North.H6828
9: And [the king of the North] shall comeH0935 to the kingdom,H4438 of the kingH4428 of the southH5045 but shall returnH7725 toH0413 his own land.H0127 However his sonsH1121 shall stir up strife,H1624 and assembleH0622 a multitudeH1995 of forces-H2428 greatH7227 and [one] shall comeH0935 surely,H0935 and overwhelm,H7857 and pass through-H5674 then he shall return,H7725 and stir up strife,H1624 toH5704 his fortress.H4581

12: And when he has taken awayH5375 the multitude,H1995 will be lifted up-H7311 his heartH3824 and he will cast downH5307 ten thousands-H7239 but notH3808 he will prevail.H5810
13: For will return,H7725 the kingH4428 of the NorthH6828 and musterH5975 a multitudeH1995 greaterH7227 thanH4480 the former,H7223 and at the endH7093 of someH6256 yearsH8141 shall comeH0935 surelyH0935 with armyH2428 a greatH1419 and equipmentH7399 much.H7227
14: And in timesH6256 thoseH1992 manyH7227 shall rise upH5975 againstH5921 the kingH4428 of the south-H5045 andH1121 violent menH6530 of your peopleH5971 shall exalt themselvesH5375 in fulfillmentH5975 of the vision-H2377 but they shall fall.H3782
15: So shall come,H0935 the kingH4428 of the NorthH6828 and buildH8210 a siege mound,H5550 and takeH3920 a city-H5892 fortifiedH4013 and the forcesH2220 of the southH5045 notH3808 shall withstand [him],H5975 and Even troops,H5971 his choiceH4005 and [shall have] noH0369 strengthH3581 to resist.H5975
16: But shall doH6213 he who comesH0935 against himH0413 according to his own will,H7522 and no oneH0369 shall standH5975 against himH6440 and He shall standH5975 in Land,H0776 the GloriousH6643 and with destructionH3615 in his power.H3027
17: And He shall setH7760 his faceH6440 to enterH0935 with the strengthH8633 of wholeH3605 his kingdom,H4438 and upright onesH3477 with himH5973 thus shall he do-H6213 and the daughterH1323 of women,H0802 he shall giveH5414 to destroy itH7843 but notH3808 she shall stand [with him]H5975 orH3808 be.H1961 After this he shall turnH7725 his faceH6440 to the coastlands,H0339 and shall takeH3920 many.H7227 But shall bring to an end-H7673 a rulerH7101 the reproachH2781 withoutH1115 the reproach [removed]H2781 he shall turn backH7725
19: And he shall turnH7725 his faceH6440 toward the fortressH4581 of his own land,H0776 but he shall stumbleH3782 and fall,H5307 and notH3808 be found.H4672
20: And there shall ariseH5975 inH5921 his placeH3653 one who imposesH5674 taxesH5065 gloriousH1925 [on] the kingdom-H4438 but within daysH3117 someH0259 he shall be destroyed,H7665 but notH3808 in anger,H0639 orH3808 in battle.H4421
21: And shall ariseH5975 inH5921 his placeH3653 a vile person,H0959 and notH3808 they will giveH5414 to whomH5921 the honorH1935 of royalty-H4438 but he shall come inH0935 peaceably,H7962 and seizeH2388 the kingdomH4438 by intrigue.H2519
22: And with the forceH2220 of a floodH7858 they shall be swept awayH7857 from before himH6440 and be broken-H7665 and alsoH1571 the princeH5057 of the covenant.H1285
23: And afterH4480 the league [is made]H2266 with himH0413 he shall actH6213 deceitfully,H4820 for he shall come up,H5927 and become strongH6105 with smallH4592 a [number of] people.H1471

25: And He shall stir upH5782 his powerH3581 and his courageH3824 againstH5921 the kingH4428 of the southH5045 with army-H2428 a greatH1419 and the kingH4428 of the southH5045 shall be stirred upH1624 to battleH4421 with army-H2428 a greatH1419 and mightyH6099 with a veryH5704 veryH3966 but notH3808 he shall stand,H5975 forH3588 they shall deviseH2803 against himH5921 plans.H4284
26: And Yes those who eatH0398 the portion of his delicaciesH6598 shall destroy himH7665 and his armyH2428 shall be swept away,H7857 and shall fall downH5307 slainH2491 many.H7227
27: And the twoH8147 of these kings'H4428 heartsH3824 [shall be bent] on evil,H4827 and atH5921 table-H7979 oneH0259 liesH3577 they shall speakH1696 but notH3808 it shall prosper,H6743 forH3588 stillH5750 the end [will be]H7093 at the appointed time.H4150
28: And while returningH7725 to his landH0776 with riches-H7399 greatH1419 and his heartH3824 shall be [moved] againstH5921 the covenant-H1285 holyH6944 so he shall do [damage]H6213 and returnH7725 to his own land.H0776
29: At the appointed timeH4150 he shall return,H7725 and goH0935 toward the south-H5045 but notH3808 it shall beH1961 like the former,H7223 or the latter.H0314
30: For shall comeH0935 ships fromH6716 CyprusH3794 therefore he shall be grieved,H3512 and return,H7725 and in rageH2194 againstH5921 the covenant-H1285 holyH6944 and do [damage]-H6213 so he shall return,H7725 and show regardH0995 forH5921 those who forsakeH5800 the covenantH1285 holy.H6944
31: And forcesH2220 by him,H4480 shall be musteredH5975 and they shall defileH2490 the sanctuaryH4720 fortress,H4581 then they shall take awayH5493 the daily [sacrifices]H8548 and place [there]H5414 the abominationH8251 of desolation.H8074
32: And Those who do wickedly againstH7561 the covenantH1285 he shall corruptH2610 with the flattering [lip]-H2514 but the peopleH5971 who knowH3045 their GodH0430 shall be strong,H2388 and carry out [great exploits].H6213
33: And those who understandH7919 of the peopleH5971 shall instructH0995 many-H7227 and yet they shall fallH3782 by sword,H2719 and flame,H3852 by captivity,H7628 and plundering,H0961 [for many] days.H3117
34: Now when they fall,H3782 they shall be aidedH5826 with a help,H5828 littleH4592 but shall joinH3867 with themH5921 manyH7227 by intrigue.H2519

37: AndH5921 the GodH0430 of his fathers,H0001 neitherH3808 He shall regardH0995 norH5921 the desireH2532 of women,H0802 andH5921 anyH3605 god-H0433 norH3808 regardH0995 forH3588 aboveH5921 [them] allH3605 he shall exalt himself.H1431
38: But a godH0433 of fortresses,H4581 inH5921 their placeH3653 he shall honorH3513 and a godH0433 whichH0834 notH3808 did knowH3045 his fathersH0001 he shall honorH3513 with gold,H2091 and silver,H3701 and with stones,H0068 preciousH3368 and pleasant things.H2530
39: Thus he shall actH6213 against the fortressesH4013 strongestH4581 withH5973 a god,H0433 foreignH5236 whichH0834 he shall acknowledgeH5234 [and] advanceH7235 [its] glory-H3519 and he shall cause them to ruleH4910 over many,H7227 and the landH0127 divideH2505 for gain.H4242
40: And at the timeH6256 of the endH7093 shall attackH5055 himH5973 the kingH4428 of the southH5045 and shall come like a whirlwindH8175 against him,H5921 the kingH4428 of the NorthH6828 with chariots,H7393 and horsemen,H6571 and with ships-H0591 manyH7227 and he shall enterH0935 the countries,H0776 and overwhelm [them]H7857 and pass through.H5674
41: And He shall enterH0935 Land,H0776 the GloriousH6643 and many [countries]H7227 shall be overthrown-H3782 but theseH0428 shall escapeH4422 from his hand,H3027 Edom,H0123 and Moab,H4124 and the prominentH7225 sonsH1121 of Ammon.H5983
42: And He shall stretch outH7971 his handH3027 against the countries,H0776 and the landH0776 of EgyptH4714 notH3808 shallH1961 escape.H6413
43: And He shall have powerH4910 over the treasuresH4362 of goldH2091 and silver,H3701 and over allH3605 the precious thingsH2530 of Egypt-H4714 and the LibyansH3864 and Ethiopians [shall follow]H3569 at his heels.H4703
44: But newsH8052 shall trouble himH0926 from the eastH4217 and the northH6828 therefore he shall go outH3318 with furyH2534 greatH1419 to destroy,H8045 and annihilateH2763 many.H7227
