2: And cameH1961 the wordH1697 of YahwehH3068 to meH0413 saying,H0559

3: SonH1121 of man,H0120 menH0376 theseH0428 have set upH5927 their idolsH1544 inH5921 their hearts,H3820 that which [causes] them to stumbleH4383 into iniquityH5771 putH5414 beforeH5227 them-H6440 Should at allH1875 I let Myself be inquired ofH1875

4: ThereforeH3651 speakH1696 to themH0853 and sayH0559 to themH0413 thusH3541 saysH0559 the LordH0136 GOD-H3069 manH0376 EveryoneH0376 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 whoH0834 sets upH5927 -H0853 his idolsH1544 inH0413 his heart,H3820 and what [causes] him to stumbleH4383 into iniquityH5771 putsH7760 beforeH5227 him,H6440 then comesH0935 toH0413 the prophet-H5030 IH0589 YahwehH3068 will answerH6030 according to the multitudeH7230 of his idols-H1544

5: thatH4616 I may seizeH8610 -H0853 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 by their heart,H3820 becauseH0834 they are estrangedH2114 from MeH5921 by their idolsH1544 all.H3605

6: ThereforeH3651 sayH0559 toH0413 the houseH1004 of Israel,H3478 thusH3541 saysH0559 the LordH0136 GOD-H3069 Repent,H7725 and turn awayH7725 fromH5921 your idols-H1544 and fromH5921 allH3605 your abominationsH8441 turn awayH7725 your faces.H6440

7: ForH3588 manH0376 anyoneH0376 of the houseH1004 of Israel,H3478 or of the strangersH1616 whoH0834 dwellH1481 in Israel,H3478 and who separates himselfH5144 from MeH0310 and sets upH5927 his idolsH1544 inH0413 his heart,H3820 and what [causes] him to stumbleH4383 into iniquityH5771 putsH7760 beforeH5227 him,H6440 then comesH0935 toH0413 a prophetH5030 to inquireH1875 IH0589 YahwehH3068 will answerH6030

8: And I will setH5414 My faceH6440 against man,H0376 thatH1931 and will make himH8074 a signH0226 and a proverb,H4912 and I cut him offH3772 from the midstH8432 of My people-H5971 then you shall knowH3045 thatH3588 I [am]H0589 Yahweh.H3068

9: And the prophetH5030 ifH3588 is inducedH6601 and to speakH1696 anything,H1697 IH0589 YahwehH3068 have inducedH6601 -H0853 prophet,H5030 thatH1931 and I will stretch outH5186 -H0853 My handH3027 against himH5921 and destroy himH8045 from amongH8432 My peopleH5971 Israel.H3478

10: And they shall bearH5375 their iniquity-H5771 the same as the punishmentH5771 of the one who inquiredH1875 the punishmentH5771 of the prophetH5030 shall be.H1961

11: ThatH4616 noH3808 may strayH8582 longerH5750 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 from MeH0310 norH3808 be profanedH2930 anymoreH5750 with allH3605 their transgressions-H6588 but that they may beH1961 people,H5971 and IH0589 may beH1961 God,H0430 saysH5002 the LordH0136 GOD.H3069

12: And again cameH1961 the wordH1697 of YahwehH3068 to meH0413 saying,H0559

13: SonH1121 of man,H0120 a landH0776 whenH3588 sinsH2398 by unfaithfulnessH4603 persistent,H4604 and I will stretch outH5186 My handH3027 against itH5921 and I will cut offH7665 supplyH4294 of breadH3899 and sendH7971 famineH7458 and cut offH3772 from itH4480 manH0120 and beast.H0929

14: And Even [if] wereH1961 threeH7969 menH0582 theseH0428 in itH8432 Noah,H5146 Daniel,H1840 and Job,H0347 theyH1992 by their righteousness,H6666 would deliverH5337 [only] themselvesH5315 saysH5002 the LordH0136 GOD.H3068

15: IfH3863 beastsH2416 wildH7451 I cause to passH5674 through the land,H0776 and they empty itH7921 and make itH1961 so desolate,H8077 that no manH1097 may pass throughH5674 becauseH6440 of the beasts-H2416

16: threeH7969 men [were]H0376 [even though] theseH0428 in itH8432 live,H2416 [as] IH0589 saysH5002 the LordH0136 GOD,H3069 neitherH0518 sonsH1121 norH0518 daughters-H1323 they would deliverH5337 theyH1992 onlyH0905 would be delivered,H5337 and the landH0776 would beH1961 desolate.H8077

17: Or [if]H0176 a swordH2719 I bringH0935 onH5921 land,H0776 thatH1931 and say,H0559 Sword,H2719 goH5674 through the land-H0776 and I cut offH3772 from itH4480 manH0120 and beast.H0929

18: And even [though] threeH7969 men [were]H0376 theseH0428 in itH8432 live,H2416 [as] IH0589 saysH5002 the LordH0136 GOD,H3069 neitherH3808 they would deliverH5337 sonsH1121 nor daughters,H1323 butH3588 theyH1992 onlyH0905 would be delivered themselves.H5337

19: Or [if]H0176 a pestilenceH1698 I sendH7971 intoH0413 land,H0776 thatH1931 and pour outH8210 My furyH2534 on itH5921 in blood,H1818 and cut offH3772 from itH4480 manH0120 and beast-H0929

20: and even [though] Noah,H5146 Daniel,H1840 and Job [were],H0347 in itH8432 live,H2416 [as] IH0589 saysH5002 the LordH0136 GOD,H3069 neitherH0518 sonH1121 norH0518 daughter-H1323 would deliverH5337 theyH1992 by their righteousness.H6666 They would deliverH5337 [only] themselves.H5315

21: ForH3588 thusH3541 saysH0559 the LordH0136 GOD-H3069 how much more it shall beH0637 whenH3588 fourH0702 My judgmentsH8201 severeH7451 the sword,H2719 and famine,H7458 and beast,H2416 wildH7451 and pestilence,H1698 I sendH7971 onH0413 Jerusalem,H3389 to cut offH3772 from itH4480 manH0120 and beasts?H0929

22: and yet behold,H2009 there shall be leftH3498 a remnantH6413 who will be brought out,H3318 [both] sonsH1121 and daughters.H1323 Surely theyH2005 will come outH3318 to youH0413 and you will seeH7200 -H0853 their waysH1870 andH0853 their doings-H5949 and you will be comfortedH5162 concerningH5921 the disasterH7451 thatH0834 I have broughtH0935 uponH5921 Jerusalem,H3389 -H0853 allH3605 thatH0834 I have broughtH0935 upon it.H5921

23: And they will comfortH5162 youH0853 whenH3588 you seeH7200 -H0853 their waysH1870 andH0853 their doings,H5949 and you shall knowH3045 thatH3588 nothingH3808 without causeH2600 I have doneH6213 -H0853 allH3605 thatH0834 I have doneH6213 saysH5002 YahwehH0136 GOD.H3069
