1: The word_H1697 which_H0834 came_H1961 to_H0413 Jeremiah_H3414 from_H0853 Yahweh,_H3068 and when Nebuchadnezzar_H5019 king_H4428 of Babylon,_H0894 and all_H3605 his army,_H2428 and all_H3605 the kingdoms_H4467 of the earth_H0776 that were under his dominion_H4475 under his dominion_H3027 and all_H3605 the people,_H5971 fought_H3898 against_H5921 Jerusalem,_H3389 and_H5921 all_H3605 its cities_H5892 saying,_H0559

2: thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh,_H3068 the God_H0430 of Israel-_H3478 go_H1980 and speak_H0559 to_H0413 Zedekiah_H6667 king_H4428 of Judah,_H3063 and tell_H0559 him_H0413 thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh-_H3068 behold I_H2005 will give_H5414 -_H0853 city_H5892 this_H2063 into the hand_H3027 of the king_H4428 of Babylon,_H0894 and he shall burn it_H8313 with fire._H0784

3: And you_H0859 not_H3808 shall escape_H4422 from his hand,_H3027 but_H3588 surely_H8610 shall be taken,_H8610 and into his hand-_H3027 delivered_H5414 and your eyes_H5869 -_H0853 the eyes_H5869 of the king_H4428 of Babylon,_H0894 shall see_H7200 and face_H6310 to_H0854 face,_H6310 he shall speak with you_H1696 and to Babylon_H0894 you shall go._H0935

4: Yet_H0389 hear_H8085 the word_H1697 of Yahweh,_H3068 Zedekiah_H6667 king_H4428 of Judah-_H3063 thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh_H3068 concerning you_H5921 not_H3808 You shall die_H4191 by the sword._H2719

5: In peace-_H7965 You shall die_H4191 and as in the ceremonies_H4955 of your fathers,_H0001 the kings_H4428 former_H7223 who_H0834 were_H1961 before you_H6440 so_H3651 they shall burn incense_H8313 and Alas_H1945 lord!_H0113 lament [saying]_H5594 for_H3588 the word,_H1697 I_H0589 have pronounced_H1696 says_H5002 Yahweh._H3068

6: And spoke_H1696 Jeremiah_H3414 the prophet_H5030 to_H0413 Zedekiah_H6667 king_H4428 of Judah_H3063 -_H0853 all_H3605 words_H1697 these_H0428 in Jerusalem,_H3389

7: and when army_H2428 the king_H4428 of Babylon_H0894 fought_H3898 against_H5921 Jerusalem,_H3389 and_H5921 all_H3605 the cities_H5892 of Judah_H3063 that were left,_H3498 against_H0413 Lachish,_H3923 and_H0413 Azekah,_H5825 for_H3588 [only] those_H2007 remained_H7604 of the cities_H5892 of Judah._H3063 Cities_H5892 fortified._H4013

8: [This is] the word_H1697 that_H0834 came_H1961 to_H0413 Jeremiah_H3414 from_H0853 Yahweh_H3069 after_H0310 had made_H3772 King_H4428 Zedekiah_H6667 a covenant_H1285 with_H0854 all_H3605 the people_H5971 who [were]_H0834 at Jerusalem,_H3389 to proclaim_H7121 to them_H1992 liberty._H1865

9: That should set_H7971 every man_H0376 -_H0853 his male,_H5650 and_H0376 -_H0853 female slave,_H8198 a Hebrew [man]_H5680 or a Hebrewess,_H5680 free-_H2670 that no one_H1115 should keep in bondage_H5647 a Jew_H3064 brother_H0251 that none._H0376

10: And when heard_H8085 all_H3605 the princes,_H8269 and all_H3605 the people,_H5971 who_H0834 had entered_H0935 into the covenant,_H1285 that should set_H7971 everyone_H0376 -_H0853 his male,_H5650 and_H0376 -_H0853 female slaves,_H8198 free,_H2670 that no one_H1115 should keep in bondage_H5647 anymore,_H5750 and they obeyed,_H8085 and let [them] go._H7971

11: But they changed their minds,_H7725 afterward_H0310 afterward_H3651 and made return,_H7725 -_H0853 the male_H5650 and_H0853 female slaves,_H8198 whom_H0834 they had set_H7971 free,_H2670 and brought them into subjection_H3533 as male_H5650 and female slaves._H8198

12: Therefore came_H1961 the word_H1697 of Yahweh_H3068 to_H0413 Jeremiah_H3414 from_H0853 Yahweh,_H3068 saying,_H0559

13: thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh,_H3068 the God_H0430 of Israel-_H3478 I_H0595 made_H3772 a covenant_H1285 with_H0854 your fathers_H0001 in the day_H3117 that I brought_H3318 them_H0853 out of the land_H0776 of Egypt,_H4714 out of the house_H1004 of bondage,_H5650 saying,_H0559

14: at the end_H7093 of seven_H7651 years_H8141 let set free_H7971 every man_H0376 -_H0853 his brother_H0251 Hebrew,_H5680 who_H0834 has been sold_H4376 and when he has served you_H5647 six_H8337 years,_H8141 and you shall let him go_H7971 free_H2670 from you_H5973 but not_H3808 did obey_H8085 your fathers_H0001 Me_H0413 nor_H3808 incline_H5186 -_H0853 their ear._H0241

15: And turned,_H7725 you_H0859 recently_H3117 and did_H6213 -_H0853 what was right_H3477 in My sight,_H5869 proclaiming_H7121 liberty_H1865 every man_H0376 to his neighbor-_H7453 and you made_H3772 a covenant_H1285 before Me_H6440 in the house_H1004 which_H0834 is called_H7121 by My name_H8034 upon._H5921

16: And you turned around_H7725 and profaned_H2490 -_H0853 My name,_H8034 and brought back,_H7725 every one of you_H0376 -_H0853 his male,_H5650 and_H0376 -_H0853 female slaves,_H8198 whom_H0834 he had set_H7971 at liberty_H2670 at their pleasure,_H5315 and brought back into subjection_H3533 them_H0853 to be_H1961 male_H5650 and female slaves._H8198

17: Therefore_H3651 thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh-_H3068 You_H0859 not_H3808 have obeyed_H8085 Me_H0413 in proclaiming_H7121 liberty,_H1865 every one_H0376 to his brother,_H0251 and every one_H0376 to his neighbor._H7453 Behold I_H2005 proclaim_H7121 liberty_H1865 says_H5002 Yahweh,_H3068 to_H0413 the sword,_H2719 to_H0413 pestilence,_H1698 and to_H0413 famine-_H7458 and I will deliver_H5414 you_H0853 to trouble_H2113 among all_H3605 the kingdoms_H4467 of the earth._H0776

18: And I will give_H5414 -_H0853 the men_H0376 who have transgressed_H5674 -_H0853 My covenant,_H1285 who_H0834 not_H3808 have performed_H6965 -_H0853 the words_H1697 of the covenant_H1285 which_H0834 they made_H3772 before Me_H6440 the calf_H5695 when_H0834 they cut_H3772 in two,_H8147 and passed_H5674 between_H0996 the parts of it._H1335

19: The princes_H8269 of Judah,_H3063 and the princes_H8269 of Jerusalem,_H3389 the eunuchs,_H5631 and the priests,_H3548 and all_H3605 the people_H5971 of the land,_H0776 who passed_H5674 between_H0996 the parts_H1335 of the calf-_H5695

20: and I will give_H5414 them_H0853 into the hand_H3027 of their enemies,_H0341 and into the hand_H3027 of those who seek_H1245 their life._H5315 And shall be_H1961 their dead bodies_H5038 for meat_H3978 for the birds_H5775 of the heaven,_H8064 and the beasts_H0929 of the earth._H0776

21: And_H0853 Zedekiah_H6667 king_H4428 of Judah_H3063 and_H0853 his princes_H8269 I will give_H5414 into the hand_H3027 of their enemies,_H0341 and into the hand_H3027 of those who seek_H1245 their life,_H5315 and into the hand_H3027 of army,_H2428 the king_H4428 of Babylon_H0894 which has gone back_H5927 from you._H5921

22: Behold I_H2005 will command,_H6680 says_H5002 Yahweh,_H3068 and cause them to return_H7725 to_H0413 city-_H5892 this_H2063 and they will fight_H3898 against it_H5921 and take it_H3920 and burn it_H8313 with fire-_H0784 and_H0853 the cities_H5892 of Judah_H3063 I will make_H5414 a desolation_H8077 without_H0369 inhabitant._H3427
