2: and go outH3318 toH0413 the Valley of the Son of HinnomH1516 of Ben-hinnomH1121 of Hinnom,H2011 which [is]H0834 by the entryH6607 of Gate,H8179 the PotsherdH2777 and proclaimH7121 thereH8033 -H0853 the wordsH1697 thatH0834 I will tellH1696 you.H0413

3: And say,H0559 HearH8085 the wordH1697 of Yahweh,H3068 kingsH4428 of Judah,H3063 and inhabitantsH3427 of Jerusalem-H3389 thusH3541 saysH0559 YahwehH3068 of hosts,H6635 the GodH0430 of Israel-H3478 beholdH2005 I will bringH0935 such a catastropheH7451 onH5921 place,H4725 thisH2088 thatH0834 whoeverH3605 hears of it,H8085 will tingleH6750 his ears.H0241

4: BecauseH3282 thatH0834 they have forsaken MeH5800 and made a sojournerH5234 -H0853 place,H4725 thisH2088 and because they have burned incenseH6999 to gods,H0430 otherH0312 whomH0834 neitherH3808 have known,H3045 theyH1992 and their fathersH0001 nor the kingsH4428 of Judah,H3063 and have filledH4390 -H0853 placeH4725 thisH2088 with the bloodH1818 of the innocents-H5355

5: and they have builtH1129 -H0853 the high placesH1116 of Baal,H1168 to burnH8313 -H0853 their sonsH1121 with fireH0784 [for] burnt offeringsH5930 to Baal,H1168 whichH0834 not,H3808 I did commandH6680 orH3808 speakH1696 norH3808 did it comeH5927 intoH5921 My mind-H3820

6: therefore,H3651 behold,H2009 the daysH3117 are coming,H0935 saysH5002 Yahweh,H3068 that noH3808 shall be calledH7121 placeH4725 thisH2088 moreH5750 Tophet,H8612 or the Valley of the Son of HinnomH1516 of Ben-hinnomH1121 of Hinnom,H2011 forH3588 butH0518 ValleyH1516 of the Slaughter.H2028

7: And I will make voidH1238 -H0853 the counselH6098 of JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389 in place-H4725 thisH2088 and I will cause them to fallH5307 by the swordH2719 beforeH6440 their enemies,H0341 and by the handsH3027 of those who seekH1245 their lives-H5315 and I will giveH5414 -H0853 their corpsesH5038 as meatH3978 for the birdsH5775 of the heaven,H8064 for the beastsH0929 of the earth.H0776

8: And I will makeH7760 -H0853 cityH5892 thisH2063 desolate,H8047 and a hissing-H8322 everyoneH3605 who passesH5674 by itH5921 will be astonishedH8074 and hissH8319 becauseH5921 of allH3605 its plagues.H4347

9: And I will cause them to eatH0398 -H0853 the fleshH1320 of their sonsH1121 andH0853 the fleshH1320 of their daughters,H1323 and everyoneH0376 the fleshH1320 of his friendH7453 shall eatH0398 in the siegeH4692 and in the desperation,H4689 with whichH0834 shall drive to despairH6693 their enemies,H0341 and those who seekH1245 their lives,H5315

10: and you shall breakH7665 the flaskH1228 in the sightH5869 of the menH0582 who goH1980 with you.H0854

11: And sayH0559 to themH0413 thusH3541 saysH0559 YahwehH3068 of hosts-H6635 Even soH3602 I will breakH7665 -H0853 peopleH5971 thisH2088 andH0853 city,H5892 thisH2063 asH0834 [one] breaksH7665 -H0853 a vessel,H3627 of potterH3335 whichH0834 cannotH3808 -H3201 be made wholeH7495 again-H5750 and in Tophet,H8612 they shall bury [them]H6912 till [there is] noH0369 placeH4725 to bury.H6912

12: ThusH3651 I will doH6213 to place,H4725 thisH2088 saysH5002 Yahweh,H3068 and to its inhabitantsH3427 and makeH5414 -H0853 cityH5892 thisH2063 like Tophet.H8612

13: And shall beH1961 the housesH1004 of Jerusalem,H3389 and the housesH1004 of the kingsH4428 of Judah,H3063 like the placeH4725 of Tophet,H8612 defiledH2931 because of allH3605 the housesH1004 whoseH0834 they have burned incenseH6999 onH5921 whose roofsH1406 to allH3605 the hostH6635 of heaven,H8064 and poured outH5258 drink offeringsH5262 to godsH0430 other.H0312

14: And cameH0935 JeremiahH3414 from TophetH8612 whereH0834 had sent himH7971 YahwehH3068 there himH8033 to prophesy-H5012 and he stoodH5975 in the courtH2691 of the house-H1004 of YahwehH3068 and saidH0559 toH0413 allH3605 the people,H5971

15: thusH3541 saysH0559 YahwehH3068 of hosts,H6635 the GodH0430 of Israel-H3478 behold IH2005 will bringH0935 onH0413 cityH5892 thisH2063 and onH5921 allH3605 her townsH5892 -H0853 allH3605 the doomH7451 thatH0834 I have pronouncedH1696 against itH5921 becauseH3588 they have stiffenedH7185 -H0853 their necks,H6203 that they might notH1115 hearH8085 -H0853 My words.H1697
