1: If_H0518 you will return,_H7725 Israel,_H3478 says_H5002 Yahweh,_H3068 to Me_H0413 Return_H7725 and if_H0518 you will put away_H5493 your abominations_H8251 out of My sight,_H6440 and not_H3808 you shall be moved._H5110

2: And you shall swear,_H7650 lives,_H2416 Yahweh_H3068 in truth,_H0571 in judgment,_H4941 and in righteousness-_H6666 and shall bless themselves_H1288 the nations_H1471 they shall glory._H1984

3: For_H3588 thus_H3541 says_H0559 Yahweh_H3068 to the men_H0376 of Judah_H3063 and Jerusalem,_H3389 Break up_H5214 fallow ground,_H5215 and not_H0408 do sow_H2232 among_H0413 thorns._H6975

4: Circumcise yourselves_H4135 to Yahweh,_H3068 and take away_H5493 the foreskins_H6190 of your hearts,_H3824 You men_H0376 of Judah_H3063 and inhabitants_H3427 of Jerusalem,_H3389 lest_H6435 come forth_H3318 like fire,_H0784 My fury_H2534 and burn_H1197 so that no one_H0369 can quench [it]_H3518 because_H6440 of the evil_H7455 of your doings._H4611

5: Declare_H5046 in Judah,_H3063 and in Jerusalem-_H3389 proclaim_H8085 and say,_H0559 Blow_H8628 the trumpet_H7782 in the land-_H0776 Cry,_H7121 Gather together,_H4390 and say,_H0559 Assemble yourselves,_H0622 and let us go_H0935 into_H0413 cities_H5892 the fortified._H4013

6: Set up_H5375 the standard_H5251 toward Zion!_H6726 take refuge,_H5756 not-_H0408 do delay_H5975 for_H3588 disaster_H7451 I_H0595 will bring_H0935 from the north,_H6828 and destruction_H7667 great._H1419

7: Has come up_H5927 the lion_H0738 from his thicket,_H5441 and the destroyer_H7843 of nations_H1471 is on his way-_H5265 He has gone forth_H3318 from his place_H4725 to make_H7760 your land_H0776 desolate-_H8047 Your cities_H5892 will be laid waste,_H5327 without_H0369 inhabitant._H3427

8: For_H5921 this_H2063 clothe yourself_H2296 with sackcloth,_H8242 Lament_H5594 and wail-_H3213 for_H3588 not_H3808 Has turned back_H7725 fierce_H2740 the anger_H0639 of Yahweh_H3068 from us._H4480

9: And it shall come to pass_H1961 in day,_H3117 that_H1931 says_H5002 Yahweh,_H3068 [That] shall perish,_H0006 the heart_H3820 of the king_H4428 and the heart_H3820 of the princes-_H8269 and shall be astonished,_H8074 the priests_H3548 and the prophets_H5030 shall wonder._H8539

10: And I said_H0559 Ah,_H0162 Lord_H0136 GOD!_H3069 surely_H0403 greatly_H5377 You have deceived_H5377 people_H5971 this_H2088 and Jerusalem,_H3389 Saying,_H0559 peace-_H7965 shall have_H1961 and Whereas reaches_H5060 the sword_H2719 to_H5704 the heart._H5315

11: At time_H6256 that_H1931 it will be said_H0559 to people_H5971 this_H2088 and to Jerusalem,_H3389 a wind_H7307 of dry_H6703 the desolate heights_H8205 [blows] in the wilderness_H4057 toward_H1870 Toward the daughter_H1323 of My people,_H5971 Not_H3808 to fan,_H2219 or_H3808 to cleanse,_H1305

12: a wind_H7307 too strong_H4392 for these_H0428 will come_H0935 now_H6258 also_H1571 I_H0589 will speak_H1696 judgment_H4941 against them._H0854

13: Behold,_H2009 like clouds,_H6051 he shall come up_H5927 and like a whirlwind-_H5492 his chariots_H4818 are swifter_H7043 than eagles._H5404 His horses_H5483 Woe_H0188 for_H3588 we are plundered._H7703

14: Wash_H3526 from wickedness,_H7451 your heart_H3820 Jerusalem,_H3389 that_H4616 you may be saved._H3467 How_H5704 long_H4970 shall lodge_H3885 within you_H7130 thoughts_H4284 your evil._H0205

15: For_H3588 a voice_H6963 declares_H5046 from Dan_H1835 and proclaims_H8085 affliction_H0205 from Mount_H2022 Ephraim._H0669

16: Make mention_H2142 to the nations-_H1471 Yes,_H2009 proclaim_H8085 against_H5921 Jerusalem,_H3389 [That] watchers_H5341 come_H0935 from a country,_H0776 far_H4801 and raise_H5414 against_H5921 the cities_H5892 of Judah_H3063 their voice._H6963

17: Like keepers_H8104 of a field,_H7704 they are_H1961 against her_H5921 all around-_H5439 because_H3588 against Me_H0853 she has been rebellious_H4784 says_H5002 Yahweh._H3069

18: Your ways_H1870 and your doings_H4611 have procured_H6213 these [things]_H0428 this [is]_H2063 your wickedness,_H7451 because_H3588 it is bitter,_H4751 because_H3588 it reaches_H5060 to_H5704 your heart._H3820

21: How_H5704 long_H4970 will I see_H7200 the standard,_H5251 [And] hear_H8085 the sound_H6963 of the trumpet?_H7782

22: for_H3588 [are] foolish,_H0191 My people_H5971 Me_H0853 not_H3808 they have known_H3045 children,_H1121 silly_H5530 they [are]_H1992 and no_H3808 have understanding-_H0995 they_H1992 wise_H2450 they [are]_H1992 to do evil,_H7489 but to do good_H3190 no_H3808 they have knowledge._H3045

23: I beheld_H7200 -_H0853 the earth,_H0776 and indeed,_H2009 [it was] without form,_H8414 and void-_H0922 and_H0413 the heavens,_H8064 and no_H0369 they had] light._H0216

24: I beheld_H7200 the mountains,_H2022 and indeed,_H2009 they trembled,_H7493 and all_H3605 the hills_H1389 moved back and forth._H7043

25: I beheld,_H7200 and indeed,_H2009 [there was] no_H0369 man,_H0120 and all_H3605 the birds_H5775 of the heavens_H8064 had fled._H5074

26: I beheld,_H7200 and indeed,_H2009 the fruitful land [was]_H3759 a wilderness,_H4057 and all_H3605 its cities_H5892 were broken down_H5422 at the presence_H6440 of Yahweh,_H3068 by_H6440 fierce_H2740 His anger._H0639

27: For_H3588 thus_H3541 says,_H0559 Yahweh_H3068 desolate-_H8077 shall be_H1961 all_H3605 the land_H0776 and yet a full end_H3617 not_H3808 I will make._H6213

28: For_H5921 this_H2063 shall mourn,_H0056 the earth_H0776 and be black,_H6937 the heavens_H8064 above_H4605 because_H5921 that_H3588 I have spoken_H1696 I have purposed_H2161 and not_H3808 will relent,_H5162 nor_H3808 will I turn back_H7725 from it._H4480

29: From the noise_H6963 of the horsemen_H6571 and_H7411 bowmen-_H7198 shall flee_H1272 whole_H3605 the city_H5892 they shall go_H0935 into thickets,_H5645 and on the rocks-_H3710 climb up_H5927 every_H3605 city_H5892 [shall be] forsaken,_H5800 and not_H0369 shall dwell_H3427 in it_H2004 a man._H0376 and [when] you_H0859 [are] plundered,_H7703 what_H4100 will you do?_H6213 Though_H3588 you clothe yourself_H3847 with crimson,_H8144 Though_H3588 you adorn [yourself]_H5710 with ornaments_H5716 of gold,_H2091 Though_H3588 you enlarge_H7167 with paint,_H6320 your eyes_H5869 in vain_H7723 you will make yourself fair-_H3302 will despise_H3988 [Your] lovers_H5689 your life_H5315 they will seek._H1245

31: For_H3588 a voice_H6963 as of a woman in labor,_H2470 I have heard_H8085 the anguish_H6869 as of her who brings forth her first child,_H1069 the voice_H6963 of the daughter_H1323 of Zion,_H6726 bewailing herself,_H3306 she spreads_H6566 her hands,_H3709 [saying] Woe [is]_H0188 now!_H4994 for_H3588 is weary_H5888 my soul_H5315 because of murderers._H2026
