1: Woe_H1945 to those who decree_H2710 decrees,_H2711 unrighteous_H0205 and who write_H3789 misfortune_H5999 [Which] they have prescribed-_H3789

2: to rob_H5186 of justice,_H1779 the poor_H1800 and to take_H1497 what is right from_H4941 the poor_H6041 of My people,_H5971 that may be_H1961 widows_H0490 their prey,_H7998 and [that]_H0853 the fatherless!_H3490 they may rob._H0962

3: And what_H4100 will you do_H6213 in the day_H3117 of punishment,_H6486 and in the desolation_H7722 from afar?_H4801 [which] will come_H0935 to_H5921 whom_H4310 will you flee_H5127 for help?_H5833 and where_H0575 will you leave_H5800 your glory?_H3519

4: without Me_H1115 they shall bow down_H3766 among_H8478 the prisoners,_H0616 and among_H8478 the slain._H2026 They shall fall_H5307 for all_H3605 this_H2063 not_H3808 is turned away,_H7725 His anger_H0639 but still._H5750 His hand_H3027 [is] stretched out._H5186

5: Woe to_H1945 Assyria,_H0804 the rod_H7626 of My anger,_H0639 and the staff_H4294 is_H1931 in whose hand_H3027 My indignation._H2195

6: Against nation,_H1471 a hypocritical_H2611 I will send him_H7971 and against_H5921 the people_H5971 of My wrath_H5678 I will give him charge,_H6680 to seize_H7997 the spoil,_H7998 and to take_H0962 the prey,_H0957 and to them_H7760 tread down_H4823 like the mire_H2563 of the streets._H2351

7: And yet he_H1931 not_H3808 so,_H3651 does mean_H1819 and his heart_H3824 nor_H3808 so-_H3651 does think_H2803 but_H3588 to destroy_H8045 [it is] in his heart_H3824 and cut off_H3772 nations_H1471 not_H3808 a few._H4592

8: For_H3588 he says,_H0559 [Are] not_H3808 my princes_H8269 altogether_H3162 kings?_H4428

9: [Is] not_H3808 like Carchemish?_H3751 Calneh_H3641 Or_H0518 [Is] not_H3808 like Arpad?_H0774 Hamath_H2574 Or_H0518 [Is] not_H3808 like Damascus_H1834 Samaria?_H8111

10: as_H0834 has found_H4672 my hand_H3027 the kingdoms_H4467 of the idols,_H0457 and Whose carved images_H6456 excelled those of Jerusalem_H3389 and Samaria._H8111

11: Shall not,_H3808 as_H0834 I have done_H6213 to Samaria_H8111 and her idols,_H0457 also_H3651 I do_H6213 to Jerusalem_H3389 and her idols'?_H6091

12: therefore it shall come to pass,_H1961 when_H3588 has performed_H1214 Yahweh_H0136 -_H0853 all_H3605 his work_H4639 on Mount_H2022 Zion_H6726 and on Jerusalem,_H3389 [that He will say] I will punish_H6485 on_H5921 the fruit_H6529 of the arrogant_H1433 heart_H3824 of the king_H4428 of Assyria,_H0804 and_H5921 the glory_H8597 of haughty_H7312 His looks._H5869

14: And has found_H4672 like a nest_H7064 My hand_H3027 the riches_H2428 of the people-_H5971 and as one gathers_H0622 eggs_H1000 [that are] left,_H5800 all_H3605 the earth-_H0776 I_H0589 have gathered_H0622 and no one_H3808 there was_H1961 who moved_H5074 [his] wing,_H3671 nor opened_H6475 [his] mouth,_H6310 and with even a peep._H6850

15: Shall boast itself_H6286 the ax_H1631 against_H5921 him who chops_H2672 [Or] shall_H0518 exalt itself_H1431 the saw_H4883 against_H5921 him who saws with it_H5130 as if could wield [itself] against_H5130 a rod_H7626 and_H0853 those who lift it up,_H7311 [Or] as if could lift up_H7311 a staff_H4294 [as if it were] not_H3808 wood._H6086

16: Therefore_H3651 will send_H7971 the Lord,_H0113 Yahweh_H3068 of Hosts,_H6635 among his fat ones_H4924 leanness-_H7332 and under_H8478 his glory_H3519 He will kindle_H3344 a burning_H3350 Like the burning_H3350 of a fire._H0784

17: So will be_H1961 the Light_H0216 of Israel_H3478 for a fire,_H0784 and his Holy one_H6918 for a flame,_H3852 and it will burn_H1197 and devour_H0398 His thorns_H7898 and his briers_H8068 in day-_H3117 one._H0259

18: And the glory_H3519 of his forest,_H3293 and of his fruitful field,_H3759 from soul_H5315 and to_H5704 body,_H1320 it will consume_H3615 and they will be_H1961 as when wastes away_H4549 a sick man._H5264

19: And the rest_H7605 of the trees_H6086 of his forest_H3293 so [few] in number,_H4557 will be_H1961 that a child_H5288 may write them._H3789

20: And it shall come to pass_H1961 in day,_H3117 that_H1931 never_H3808 will_H3254 again_H5750 [That] the remnant_H7605 of Israel,_H3478 and such as have escaped_H6413 of the house_H1004 of Jacob,_H3290 depend_H8172 on_H5921 him who defeated them_H5221 but will depend_H8172 on_H5921 Yahweh,_H3068 the Holy one_H6918 of Israel,_H3478 in truth._H0571

21: The remnant_H7605 will return,_H7725 the remnant_H7605 of Jacob,_H3290 to_H0413 God_H0410 the Mighty._H1368

22: For_H3588 though_H0518 be_H1961 your people_H5971 Israel_H3478 as the sand_H2344 of the sea,_H3220 a remnant_H7605 will return-_H7725 the destruction_H3631 decreed_H2782 shall overflow with_H7857 righteousness._H6666

23: For_H3588 a end,_H3617 and determined,_H2782 the Lord_H0136 GOD_H3069 of hosts_H6635 will make_H6213 in the midst_H7130 of all_H3605 the land._H0776

26: And will stir up_H5782 for him_H5921 Yahweh_H3068 of hosts_H6635 a scourge_H7752 like the slaughter_H4347 of Midian_H4080 at the rock_H6697 of Oreb-_H6159 and [as] His rod was_H4294 on_H5921 the sea,_H3220 so will He lift it up_H5375 in the manner_H1870 of Egypt._H4714

27: And it shall come to pass_H1961 in day,_H3117 that_H1931 will be taken away_H5493 [That] his burden_H5448 from_H5921 your shoulder,_H7926 and his yoke_H5923 from_H5921 your neck,_H6677 and will be destroyed_H2254 the yoke_H5923 because [of]_H6440 the [anointing] oil._H8081

28: He has come_H0935 to_H5921 Ayyah,_H5857 He has passed_H5674 Migron-_H4051 at Michmash_H4363 he has attended to_H6485 his equipment._H3627

29: They have gone along_H5674 the ridge,_H4569 at Geba-_H1387 lodging_H4411 is afraid-_H2729 Ramah_H7414 Gibeah_H1390 of Saul_H7586 has fled._H5127

33: Behold,_H2009 the Lord,_H0113 Yahweh_H3068 of hosts,_H6635 will lop off_H5586 the bough_H6288 with terror-_H4637 and Those of high_H7311 stature_H6967 [will be] hewn down,_H1438 and the high [ones]_H1364 will be humbled._H8213

34: And He will cut down_H5362 the thickets_H5442 of the forest_H3293 with iron,_H1270 and Lebanon_H3844 by the Mighty one_H0117 will fall._H5307
