8: Now the kingH4428 of SyriaH0758 becomeH1961 was making warH3898 against Israel,H3478 and he consultedH3289 withH0413 his servants,H5650 saying,H0559 inH0413 a placeH4725 suchH6423 and suchH0492 My camp [will be].H8466
9: And sentH7971 the manH0376 of GodH0430 toH0413 the kingH4428 of Israel,H3478 saying,H0559 BewareH8104 that you do not passH5674 place-H4725 thisH2088 forH3588 thereH8033 SyriaH0758 is coming down.H5181
10: And sent [someone]H7971 the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 toH0413 the placeH4725 of whichH0834 had toldH0559 the manH0376 of GodH0430 thus he warned himH2094 and he was watchfulH8104 there,H8033 notH3808 [just] one [time]H0259 and notH3808 [just] two [times].H8147
11: Therefore was greatly troubledH5590 the heartH3820 of the kingH4428 of SyriaH0758 byH5921 thing-H1697 thisH2088 and he calledH7121 untoH0413 his servants,H5650 and saidH0559 to themH0413 will notH3808 you showH5046 whoH4310 of usH7945 [is] forH0413 the kingH4428 of Israel?H3478

13: So he said,H0559 goH1980 and seeH7200 whereH0351 he [is]H1931 that I may sendH7971 and get himH3947 and it was toldH5046 saying,H0559 surely,H2009 [he is] in Dothan.H1886
14: Therefore he sentH7971 thereH8033 horses,H5483 and chariots,H7393 and a army-H2428 greatH3515 and they cameH0935 by night,H3915 and surroundedH5362 onH5921 the city.H5892

17: And prayed,H6419 ElishaH0477 and said,H0559 Yahweh,H3068 openH6491 I pray,H4994 -H0853 his eyes,H5869 that he may see.H7200 And openedH6491 YahwehH3068 -H0853 the eyesH5869 of the young man-H5288 and he saw-H7200 and behold,H2009 the mountain [was]H2022 fullH4390 of horsesH5483 and chariotsH7393 of fireH0784 all aroundH5439 Elisha.H0477
18: So when [the Syrians] came downH3381 to himH0413 and prayedH6419 ElishaH0477 toH0413 Yahweh,H3068 and said,H0559 StrikeH5221 I pray,H4994 -H0853 people,H1471 thisH2088 with blindness.H5575 And He struck themH5221 with blindnessH5575 according to the wordH1697 of Elisha.H0477
19: And saidH0559 to themH0413 ElishaH0477 notH3808 this [is]H2088 the way,H1870 norH3808 [is] thisH2090 the city-H5892 FollowH1980 meH0310 and I will bringH1980 youH0853 toH0413 the manH0376 whomH0834 you seek.H1245 But he ledH1980 themH0853 to Samaria.H8111

23: And he preparedH3739 for themH1992 a feastH3740 greatH1419 and after they ateH0398 and drank,H8354 and he sent them away,H7971 and they wentH1980 toH0413 their master.H0113 So noH3808 moreH3254 againH5750 the bandsH1416 from SyriaH0758 cameH0935 into the landH0776 of Israel.H3478
24: And it came to passH1961 afterH0310 this,H3651 that gatheredH6908 Ben-hadadH1130 kingH4428 of SyriaH0758 -H0853 allH3605 his army,H4264 and went up,H5927 and besiegedH6696 onH5921 Samaria.H8111
25: And there wasH1961 a famineH7458 greatH1419 in Samaria-H8111 and indeed,H2009 they besiegedH6696 itH5921 untilH5704 was [sold]H1961 a headH7218 of donkeyH2543 for eightyH8084 [shekels] of silver,H3701 and one-fourthH7255 of a kabH6894 of dove droppingsH2755 for fiveH2568 [shekels] of silver.H3701
26: And as wasH1961 the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 passing byH5674 onH5921 the wall,H2346 and a womanH0802 cried outH6817 to himH0413 saying,H0559 Help,H3467 my lord,H0113 king.H4428
27: And he said,H0559 notH0408 if does help youH3467 YahwehH3068 whereH0370 can I find help for youH3467 fromH4480 the threshing floor,H1637 orH0176 fromH4480 the winepress?H3342
28: and saidH0559 the kingH4428 whatH4100 and she answered,H0559 womanH0802 thisH2063 saidH0559 to meH0413 GiveH5414 -H0853 your son,H1121 that we may eat himH0398 today,H3117 andH0853 my sonH1121 we will eatH0398 tomorrow.H4279
29: So we boiledH1310 -H0853 my son,H1121 and ate himH0398 and I saidH0559 to herH0413 on the day,H3117 nextH0312 GiveH5414 -H0853 your son,H1121 that we may eat himH0398 but she has hiddenH2244 -H0853 her son.H1121
30: And it came to pass,H1961 when heardH8085 the kingH4428 -H0853 the wordsH1697 of the woman,H0802 that he toreH7167 -H0853 his clothes-H0899 and as heH1931 passed byH5674 onH5921 the wall,H2346 and looked,H7200 the peopleH5971 and there,H2009 [he had] sackclothH8242 onH5921 his bodyH1320 underneath.H1004
31: And he said,H0559 soH3541 doH6213 GodH0430 and alsoH3541 moreH3254 ifH0518 remainsH5975 the headH7218 of ElishaH0477 sonH1121 of ShaphatH8202 on himH5921 today.H3117
32: But ElishaH0477 was sittingH3427 in his house,H1004 and the eldersH2205 were sittingH3427 with himH0854 and [the king] sentH7971 a manH0376 ahead of himH6440 but beforeH2962 cameH0935 the messengerH4397 to himH0413 and heH1931 saidH0559 toH0413 the elders,H2205 do you seeH7200 howH3588 has sent someoneH7971 sonH1121 of a murdererH7523 thisH2088 to take awayH5493 -H0853 my head?H7218 Look,H7200 when comes,H0935 the messengerH4397 shutH5462 the door,H1817 and hold fastH3905 himH0853 at the door-H1817 [Is] notH3808 the soundH6963 of feetH7272 of his masterH0113 behind him.H0310
