2: And saidH0559 YahwehH3068 toH0413 Gideon,H1439 [are] too manyH7227 the peopleH5971 who [are]H0834 with youH0854 for Me to giveH5414 -H0853 the MidianitesH4080 into their hands,H3027 lestH6435 claim glory for itselfH6286 against MeH5921 IsraelH3478 saying,H0559 My own handH3027 has savedH3467
3: Therefore nowH6258 proclaimH7121 now,H4994 in the hearingH0241 of the people,H5971 saying,H0559 who [is]H4310 fearfulH3373 and afraid,H2730 let him turnH7725 and depart at onceH6852 from MountH2022 Gilead.H1568 And returnedH7725 ofH4480 the peopleH5971 twentyH6242 and twoH8147 thousand-H0505 and tenH6235 thousandH0505 remained.H7604
4: But saidH0559 YahwehH3068 toH0413 Gideon,H1439 stillH5750 the people [are]H5971 [too] many-H7227 bring them downH3381 -H0853 toH0413 the water,H4325 and I will test themH6884 there.H8033 And it will be,H1961 [that] of whomH0834 I sayH0559 to youH0413 this [one]H2088 shall goH1980 with youH0854 heH1931 shall goH1980 with youH0854 andH3605 of whomeverH0834 I sayH0559 to youH0413 this [one]H2088 notH3808 shall goH1980 with youH5973 heH1931 notH3808 shall go.H1980
5: So he brought downH3381 -H0853 the peopleH5971 toH0413 the water.H4325 And saidH0559 YahwehH3068 toH0413 Gideon,H1439 EveryoneH3605 whoH0834 lapsH3952 with his tongue,H3956 fromH4480 the waterH4325 asH0834 laps,H3952 a dogH3611 you shall set apartH3322 -H0853 by himself-H0905 and likewise everyoneH3605 whoH0834 gets downH3766 onH5921 his kneesH1290 to drink.H8354
6: And wasH1961 the numberH4557 of those who lapped,H3952 [putting] their handH3027 toH0413 their mouth,H6310 threeH7969 hundredH3967 men-H0376 but allH3605 the restH3499 of the peopleH5971 got downH3766 onH5921 their kneesH1290 to drinkH8354 water.H4325
7: And saidH0559 YahwehH3068 toH0413 Gideon,H1439 by the threeH7969 hundredH3967 menH0376 who lappedH3952 I will saveH3467 youH0853 and deliverH5414 -H0853 the MidianitesH4080 into your hand-H3027 and allH3605 the [other] peopleH5971 let goH1980 every manH0376 to his place.H4725
8: So tookH3947 -H0853 provisionsH6720 the peopleH5971 in their hands,H3027 andH0853 their trumpets-H7782 andH0853 allH3605 [the [rest of]H0376 IsraelH3478 he sent awayH7971 every man-H0376 to his tent,H0168 and threeH7969 hundredH3967 those menH0376 retainedH2388 and the campH4264 of MidianH4080 wasH1961 belowH8478 in the valley.H6010
9: And it happenedH1961 on night,H3915 thatH1931 saidH0559 to himH0413 YahwehH3068 Arise,H6965 go downH3381 against the camp-H4264 forH3588 I have delivered itH5414 into your hand.H3027
10: But ifH0518 are afraidH3373 youH0859 to go down,H3381 go downH3381 youH0859 and PurahH6513 your servantH5288 toH0413 the camp,H4264

12: Now the MidianitesH4080 and AmalekitesH6002 and allH3605 the sonsH1121 of the EastH6924 were lyingH5307 in the valleyH6010 as numerous as locustsH0697 as numerous-H7230 and their camels [were]H1581 withoutH0369 number,H4557 as the sandH2344 byH5921 sideH8193 the seashoreH3220 in multitude.H7230
13: And when had come,H0935 GideonH1439 and there was,H2009 a manH0376 tellingH5608 to his companion,H7453 a dreamH2472 and He said,H0559 behold,H2009 a dream,H2472 I have hadH2492 and [To my] surprise,H2009 a loaf ofH6742 breadH3899 barleyH8184 tumbledH2015 into the campH4264 of Midian,H4080 and it cameH0935 toH5704 a tent,H0168 and struck itH5221 so that it fell,H5307 and overturnedH2015 upsideH4605 and collapsedH5307 the tent.H0168

15: And so it wasH1961 when heardH8085 GideonH1439 -H0853 the tellingH4557 of the dream,H2472 andH0853 its interpretationH7667 that he worshiped,H7812 and He returnedH7725 toH0413 the campH4264 of Israel,H3478 and said,H0559 Arise-H6965 forH3588 has deliveredH5414 YahwehH3068 into your handH3027 -H0853 the campH4264 of Midian.H4080
16: And he divided [into]H2673 -H0853 threeH7969 hundredH3967 the menH0376 threeH7969 companies,H7218 and he putH5414 a trumpetH7782 into hand,H3027 of every manH3605 and with pitchers,H3537 emptyH7386 and torchesH3940 insideH8432 the pitchers.H3537
