2: And_G2532 He_G0846 [the] propitiation_G2434 is_G1510 for_G4012 the_G3588 sins_G0266 of us;_G1473 not_G3756 for_G4012 the_G3588 of ours_G2251 and_G1161 only,_G3440 but_G0235 also_G2532 for_G4012 all_G3650 the_G3588 world._G2889

3: And_G2532 by_G1722 this_G3778 we know_G1097 that_G3754 we have come to know_G1097 Him,_G0846 if_G1437 the_G3588 commandments_G1785 of Him_G0846 we should keep._G5083

4: The [one]_G3588 saying_G3004 -,_G3754 I have known_G1097 Him,_G0846 and_G2532 the_G3588 commandments_G1785 of Him_G0846 not_G3361 keeping,_G5083 a liar_G5583 he is,_G1510 and_G2532 in_G1722 him_G3778 the_G3588 truth_G0225 not_G3756 is._G1510

5: Whoever_G3739 however_G1161 -_G0302 may keep_G5083 His_G0846 -_G3588 word,_G3056 truly_G0230 in_G1722 him_G3778 the_G3588 love_G0026 -_G3588 of God_G2316 has been perfected._G5048 By_G1722 this_G3778 we know_G1097 that_G3754 in_G1722 Him_G0846 we are:_G1510

6: The [one]_G3588 claiming_G3004 in_G1722 Him_G0846 to abide,_G3306 ought_G3784 just as_G2531 that_G1565 walk_G4043 also_G2532 He_G0846 in the same way_G3779 walked._G4043

7: Beloved,_G0027 not_G3756 a commandment_G1785 new_G2537 I am writing_G1125 to you,_G4771 but_G0235 a commandment_G1785 old,_G3820 which_G3739 you have had_G2192 from_G0575 [the] beginning._G0746 The_G3588 commandment_G1785 -_G3588 old_G3820 is_G1510 the_G3588 word_G3056 that_G3739 you have heard._G0191

8: Again,_G3825 a commandment_G1785 new_G2537 I am writing_G1125 to you,_G4771 which_G3739 is_G1510 TRUE_G0227 in_G1722 Him_G0846 and_G2532 in_G1722 you,_G4771 because_G3754 the_G3588 darkness_G4653 is passing away,_G3855 and_G2532 the_G3588 light_G5457 -_G3588 TRUE_G0228 already_G2235 shines._G5316

9: The [one]_G3588 claiming_G3004 in_G1722 the_G3588 light_G5457 to be_G1510 and_G2532 the_G3588 brother_G0080 of him_G0846 hating,_G3404 in_G1722 the_G3588 darkness_G4653 is_G1510 even until_G2193 now._G0737

10: The [one]_G3588 loving_G0025 the_G3588 brother_G0080 of him,_G0846 in_G1722 the_G3588 light_G5457 abides,_G3306 and_G2532 cause for stumbling_G4625 in_G1722 him_G0846 not_G3756 there is._G1510

11: The [one]_G3588 however_G1161 hating_G3404 the_G3588 brother_G0080 of him,_G0846 in_G1722 the_G3588 darkness_G4653 is,_G1510 and_G2532 in_G1722 the_G3588 darkness_G4653 walks;_G4043 and_G2532 not_G3756 does he know_G1492 where_G4225 he is going,_G5217 because_G3754 the_G3588 darkness_G4653 has blinded_G5186 the_G3588 eyes_G3788 of him._G0846

12: I am writing_G1125 to you,_G4771 little children,_G5040 because_G3754 have been forgiven_G0863 your_G4771 -_G3588 sins_G0266 for the sake of_G1223 the_G3588 name_G3686 of Him._G0846

13: I am writing_G1125 to you,_G4771 fathers,_G3962 because_G3754 you have known_G1097 Him who [is]_G3588 from_G0575 [the] beginning._G0746 I am writing_G1125 to you,_G4771 young men,_G3495 because_G3754 you have overcome_G3528 the_G3588 evil [one]._G4190 I have written_G1125 to you,_G4771 little children,_G3813 because_G3754 you know_G1097 the_G3588 Father._G3962

14: I have written_G1125 to you,_G4771 fathers,_G3962 because_G3754 you know_G1097 Him who [is]_G3588 from_G0575 [the] beginning._G0746 I have written_G1125 to you,_G4771 young men,_G3495 because_G3754 strong_G2478 you are,_G1510 and_G2532 the_G3588 word_G3056 -_G3588 of God_G2316 in_G1722 you_G4771 abides,_G3306 and_G2532 you have overcome_G3528 the_G3588 evil [one]._G4190

15: Not_G3361 love_G0025 the_G3588 world_G2889 nor_G3366 the things_G3588 in_G1722 the_G3588 world._G2889 If_G1437 anyone_G5100 should love_G0025 the_G3588 world,_G2889 not_G3756 is_G1510 the_G3588 love_G0026 of the_G3588 Father_G3962 in_G1722 him,_G0846

16: because_G3754 all_G3956 that [is]_G3588 in_G1722 the_G3588 world,_G2889 the_G3588 desire_G1939 of the_G3588 flesh,_G4561 and_G2532 the_G3588 desire_G1939 of the_G3588 eyes,_G3788 and_G2532 the_G3588 vaunting_G0212 of_G3588 life,_G0979 not_G3756 is_G1510 from_G1537 the_G3588 Father,_G3962 but_G0235 from_G1537 the_G3588 world_G2889 is._G1510

17: And_G2532 the_G3588 world_G2889 is passing away,_G3855 and_G2532 the_G3588 desire_G1939 of it;_G0846 the [one]_G3588 however_G1161 doing_G4160 the_G3588 will_G2307 -_G3588 of God_G2316 abides_G3306 to_G1519 the_G3588 age._G0165

18: Little children,_G3813 [the] last_G2078 hour_G5610 it is,_G1510 and_G2532 as_G2531 you have heard_G0191 that_G3754 antichrist_G0500 is coming,_G2064 even_G2532 now_G3568 antichrists_G0500 many_G4183 have arisen,_G1096 whereby_G3606 we know_G1097 that_G3754 [the] last_G2078 hour_G5610 it is._G1510

19: From among_G1537 us_G1473 they went out,_G1831 but_G0235 not_G3756 they were_G1510 of_G1537 us;_G1473 if_G1487 for_G1063 of_G1537 us_G1473 they had been,_G1510 they would have remained_G3306 -_G0302 with_G3326 us._G1473 But_G0235 [it is] so that_G2443 it might be made manifest_G5319 that_G3754 not_G3756 they are_G1510 all_G3956 of_G1537 us._G1473

20: And_G2532 you_G4771 [the] anointing_G5545 have_G2192 from_G0575 the_G3588 Holy [One],_G0040 and_G2532 know you_G1492 all._G3956

21: Not_G3756 I have written_G1125 to you_G4771 because_G3754 not_G3756 you know_G1492 the_G3588 truth,_G0225 but_G0235 because_G3754 you know_G1492 it,_G0846 and_G2532 because_G3754 any_G3956 lie,_G5579 of_G1537 the_G3588 truth_G0225 not_G3756 is._G1510

22: Who_G5101 is_G1510 the_G3588 liar,_G5583 if_G1487 not_G3361 the [one]_G3588 denying_G0720 that_G3754 Jesus_G2424 not_G3756 is_G1510 the_G3588 Christ?_G5547 This_G3778 is_G1510 the_G3588 antichrist,_G0500 the [one]_G3588 denying_G0720 the_G3588 Father_G3962 and_G2532 the_G3588 Son._G5207

23: Everyone_G3956 -_G3588 denying_G0720 the_G3588 Son,_G5207 neither_G3761 the_G3588 Father_G3962 has he._G2192 The [one]_G3588 confessing_G3670 the_G3588 Son,_G5207 also_G2532 the_G3588 Father_G3962 has._G2192

24: You,_G4771 what_G3739 you have heard_G0191 from_G0575 [the] beginning,_G0746 in_G1722 you_G4771 let it abide._G3306 If_G1437 in_G1722 you_G4771 should abide_G3306 what_G3739 from_G0575 [the] beginning_G0746 you have heard,_G0191 also_G2532 you_G4771 in_G1722 the_G3588 Son_G5207 and_G2532 in_G1722 the_G3588 Father_G3962 will abide._G3306

25: And_G2532 this_G3778 is_G1510 the_G3588 promise_G1860 that_G3739 He_G0846 promised_G1861 us:_G1473 -_G3588 life_G2222 -_G3588 eternal._G0166

26: These things_G3778 I have written_G1125 to you_G4771 concerning_G4012 those_G3588 leading astray_G4105 you._G4771

27: And_G2532 you,_G4771 the_G3588 anointing_G5545 that_G3739 you received_G2983 from_G0575 Him,_G0846 abides_G3306 in_G1722 you,_G4771 and_G2532 not_G3756 need_G5532 you have_G2192 that_G2443 anyone_G5100 should teach_G1321 you._G4771 But_G0235 just as_G5613 the_G3588 same_G0846 anointing_G5545 teaches_G1321 you_G4771 concerning_G4012 all things,_G3956 and_G2532 TRUE_G0227 is,_G1510 and_G2532 not_G3756 is_G1510 a lie;_G5579 and_G2532 just as_G2531 it has taught_G1321 you,_G4771 you shall abide_G3306 in_G1722 Him._G0846

28: And_G2532 now,_G3568 little children,_G5040 abide_G3306 in_G1722 Him,_G0846 so that_G2443 when_G1437 He appears_G5319 we might have_G2192 boldness_G3954 and_G2532 not_G3361 be ashamed_G0153 before_G0575 Him_G0846 at_G1722 the_G3588 coming_G3952 of Him._G0846

29: If_G1437 you know_G1492 that_G3754 righteous_G1342 He is,_G1510 you know_G1097 that_G3754 also_G2532 everyone_G3956 -_G3588 practicing_G4160 -_G3588 righteousness,_G1343 of_G1537 Him_G0846 has been begotten._G1080
