7: -_G3588 But_G1161 now_G3568 the heavens_G3772 and_G2532 the_G3588 earth,_G1093 by the_G3588 same_G0846 word_G3056 having been stored up_G2343 exist,_G1510 for fire_G4442 being kept_G5083 unto_G1519 [the] day_G2250 of judgment_G2920 and_G2532 destruction_G0684 -_G3588 of ungodly_G0765 men._G0444

8: [This] one_G1520 however_G1161 thing_G3778 not_G3361 let be hidden from_G2990 you,_G4771 beloved,_G0027 that_G3754 one_G1520 day_G2250 with [the]_G3844 Lord [is]_G2962 like_G5613 a thousand_G5507 years,_G2094 and_G2532 a thousand_G5507 years_G2094 like_G5613 day_G2250 one._G1520

9: Not_G3756 does delay_G1019 the Lord_G2962 the_G3588 promise,_G1860 as_G5613 some_G5100 slowness_G1022 esteem,_G2233 but_G0235 is patient_G3114 toward_G1519 you,_G4771 not_G3361 willing_G1014 [for] any_G5100 to perish,_G0622 but_G0235 all_G3956 to_G1519 repentance_G3341 to come._G5562

10: Will come_G2240 however_G1161 [the] day_G2250 of [the] Lord_G2962 like_G5613 a thief,_G2812 in_G1722 which_G3739 the_G3588 heavens_G3772 with a roar_G4500 will pass away,_G3928 elements_G4747 then_G1161 burning with heat_G2741 will be dissolved,_G3089 and_G2532 [the] earth_G1093 and_G2532 the_G3588 in_G1722 it_G0846 works_G2041 not_G3756 will be found._G2147

11: These things_G3778 in this way_G3779 all_G3956 being dissolved,_G3089 what kind_G4217 ought_G1163 to be_G5225 you?_G4771 In_G1722 holy_G0040 conduct_G0391 and_G2532 godliness,_G2150

12: expecting_G4328 and_G2532 hastening_G4692 the_G3588 coming_G3952 of the_G3588 -_G3588 of God_G2316 day,_G2250 by reason of_G1223 which_G3739 [the] heavens_G3772 being set on fire_G4448 will be dissolved,_G3089 and_G2532 [the] elements_G4747 burning with heat_G2741 are melting._G5080

13: New_G2537 however_G1161 heavens,_G3772 and_G2532 earth_G1093 a new,_G2537 according to_G2596 the_G3588 promise_G1862 of Him,_G0846 we are awaiting,_G4328 in_G1722 which_G3739 righteousness_G1343 dwells._G2730

14: Therefore,_G1352 beloved,_G0027 these things_G3778 expecting,_G4328 be diligent_G4704 without spot_G0784 and_G2532 without blemish_G0298 by Him_G0846 to be found,_G2147 in_G1722 peace._G1515

17: You_G4771 therefore,_G3767 beloved,_G0027 knowing [this] beforehand,_G4267 beware,_G5442 that_G2443 not_G3361 by the_G3588 of the_G3588 lawless_G0113 error_G4106 having been led away,_G4879 you should fall from_G1601 the_G3588 own_G2398 steadfastness._G4740
