1: -_G3588 Finally,_G3063 pray,_G4336 brothers,_G0080 for_G4012 us,_G1473 that_G2443 the_G3588 word_G3056 of the_G3588 Lord_G2962 may spread quickly_G5143 and_G2532 may be glorified,_G1392 just as_G2531 also_G2532 with_G4314 you,_G4771

2: and_G2532 that_G2443 we may be delivered_G4506 from_G0575 -_G3588 perverse_G0824 and_G2532 evil_G4190 men;_G0444 not_G3756 for_G1063 all [are]_G3956 of the_G3588 faith._G4102

3: Faithful_G4103 however_G1161 is_G1510 the_G3588 Lord,_G2962 who_G3739 will strengthen_G4741 you_G4771 and_G2532 will keep [you]_G5442 from_G0575 -_G3588 evil._G4190

4: We are persuaded_G3982 now_G1161 in_G1722 [the] Lord_G2962 as to_G1909 you,_G4771 that_G3754 the things that_G3739 we command,_G3853 both_G2532 you are doing_G4160 and_G2532 you will do._G4160

5: -_G3588 And_G1161 the Lord_G2962 may direct_G2720 your_G4771 -_G3588 hearts_G2588 into_G1519 the_G3588 love_G0026 -_G3588 of God_G2316 and_G2532 into_G1519 the_G3588 steadfastness_G5281 -_G3588 of Christ._G5547

6: We command_G3853 now_G1161 you,_G4771 brothers,_G0080 in_G1722 [the] name_G3686 of the_G3588 Lord_G2962 of us_G1473 Jesus_G2424 Christ,_G5547 are to withdraw_G4724 you_G4771 from_G0575 every_G3956 brother_G0080 idly_G0814 walking_G4043 and_G2532 not_G3361 according to_G2596 the_G3588 tradition_G3862 that_G3739 you received_G3880 from_G3844 us._G1473

7: Yourselves_G0846 for_G1063 you know_G1492 how_G4459 it behooves [you]_G1163 to imitate_G3401 us,_G1473 because_G3754 not_G3756 we were idle_G0812 among_G1722 you,_G4771

8: nor_G3761 without payment_G1432 bread_G0740 did we eat_G5315 from_G3844 anyone,_G5100 but_G0235 in_G1722 labor_G2873 and_G2532 hardship,_G3449 night_G3571 and_G2532 day_G2250 working,_G2038 in order_G4314 -_G3588 not_G3361 to be burdensome to_G1912 any_G5100 of you,_G4771

9: not_G3756 that_G3754 not_G3756 we have_G2192 [the] right,_G1849 but_G0235 that_G2443 ourselves_G1438 [as] an example_G5179 we may offer_G1325 to you,_G4771 for_G1519 -_G3588 you to imitate_G3401 us._G1473

10: Even_G2532 for_G1063 when_G3753 we were_G1510 with_G4314 you,_G4771 this_G3778 we were commanding_G3853 you,_G4771 that_G3754 if_G1487 anyone_G5100 not_G3756 is willing_G2309 to work,_G2038 neither_G3366 let him eat._G2068

11: We hear_G0191 for_G1063 some_G5100 are walking_G4043 among_G1722 you_G4771 idly,_G0814 not at all_G3367 working,_G2038 but_G0235 being busybodies._G4020

12: To_G3588 now_G1161 such,_G5108 we warn_G3853 and_G2532 exhort_G3870 by_G1722 our Lord_G2962 Jesus_G2424 Christ,_G5547 so that,_G2443 with_G3326 quietness_G2271 working,_G2038 -_G3588 their own_G1438 bread_G0740 they may eat._G2068

13: You_G4771 now,_G1161 brothers,_G0080 not_G3361 shall grow weary_G1573 [in] well-doing._G2569

14: If_G1487 then_G1161 anyone_G5100 not_G3756 obey_G5219 this_G3588 instruction_G3056 of us_G1473 through_G1223 the_G3588 letter,_G1992 of this [man]_G3778 take note_G4593 not_G3361 to mix with_G4874 him,_G0846 so that_G2443 he may be ashamed._G1788

15: And yet_G2532 not_G3361 as_G5613 an enemy_G2190 esteem [him],_G2233 but_G0235 admonish [him]_G3560 as_G5613 a brother._G0080

16: Himself_G0846 now_G1161 the_G3588 Lord_G2962 -_G3588 of peace_G1515 may give_G1325 you_G4771 -_G3588 peace_G1515 through_G1223 all,_G3956 in_G1722 every_G3956 way._G5158 The_G3588 Lord [be]_G2962 with_G3326 all_G3956 of you._G4771

17: The_G3588 greeting_G0783 -_G3588 in my own_G1699 hand—_G5495 Paul,_G3972 which_G3739 is_G1510 [my] sign_G4592 in_G1722 every_G3956 letter._G1992 In this manner_G3779 I write._G1125
