2: and_G2532 walk_G4043 in_G1722 love,_G0026 just as_G2531 also_G2532 -_G3588 Christ_G5547 loved_G0025 us_G1473 and_G2532 gave up_G3860 himself_G1438 for_G5228 us_G1473 [as] an offering_G4376 and_G2532 a sacrifice_G2378 -_G3588 to God,_G2316 into_G1519 an aroma_G3744 of a sweet smell._G2175

3: Sexual immorality_G4202 however,_G1161 and_G2532 impurity_G0167 all,_G3956 or_G2228 covetousness,_G4124 not even_G3366 let be named_G3687 among_G1722 you,_G4771 as also_G2531 is proper_G4241 to saints,_G0040

4: and_G2532 filthiness,_G0151 and_G2532 foolish talking,_G3473 or_G2228 crude joking,_G2160 which_G3739 not_G3756 are fitting;_G0433 but_G0235 rather_G3123 thanksgiving._G2169

5: This_G3778 for_G1063 you know,_G1492 realizing_G1097 that_G3754 any_G3956 fornicator,_G4205 or_G2228 unclean person,_G0169 or_G2228 covetous man,_G4123 who_G3739 is_G1510 an idolater,_G1496 not_G3756 has_G2192 inheritance_G2817 in_G1722 the_G3588 kingdom_G0932 -_G3588 of Christ,_G5547 and_G2532 of God._G2316

6: No one_G3367 you_G4771 let deceive_G0538 with empty_G2756 words,_G3056 because of_G1223 these things_G3778 for_G1063 comes_G2064 the_G3588 wrath_G3709 -_G3588 of God_G2316 upon_G1909 the_G3588 sons_G5207 -_G3588 of disobedience._G0543

7: Not_G3361 therefore_G3767 be_G1096 partakers_G4830 with them._G0846

8: You were_G1510 for_G1063 once_G4218 darkness;_G4655 now_G3568 however,_G1161 light_G5457 in_G1722 [the] Lord;_G2962 as_G5613 children_G5043 of light_G5457 walk—_G4043

9: -_G3588 for_G1063 the fruit_G2590 of the_G3588 light [is]_G5457 in_G1722 all_G3956 goodness_G0019 and_G2532 righteousness_G1343 and_G2532 truth—_G0225

10: discerning_G1381 what_G5101 is_G1510 well-pleasing_G2101 to the_G3588 Lord._G2962

11: And_G2532 not_G3361 have fellowship with_G4790 the_G3588 works_G2041 -_G3588 unfruitful_G0175 -_G3588 of darkness;_G4655 rather_G3123 however_G1161 even_G2532 expose [them];_G1651

12: the things_G3588 for_G1063 in secret_G2931 being done_G1096 by_G5259 them,_G0846 shameful_G0150 it is_G1510 even_G2532 to mention._G3004

13: -_G3588 But_G1161 everything_G3956 being exposed_G1651 by_G5259 the_G3588 light_G5457 is made visible,_G5319 everything_G3956 for_G1063 -_G3588 becoming visible_G5319 light_G5457 is._G1510

14: Therefore_G1352 it says:_G3004 Awake you,_G1453 the [one]_G3588 sleeping,_G2518 and_G2532 rise up_G0450 out from_G1537 the_G3588 dead,_G3498 and_G2532 will shine upon_G2017 you_G4771 -_G3588 Christ._G5547

15: Take heed_G0991 therefore_G3767 carefully_G0199 how_G4459 you walk,_G4043 not_G3361 as_G5613 unwise,_G0781 but_G0235 as_G5613 wise,_G4680

16: redeeming_G1805 the_G3588 time,_G2540 because_G3754 the_G3588 days_G2250 evil_G4190 are._G1510

17: Because of_G1223 this,_G3778 not_G3361 be_G1096 foolish,_G0878 but_G0235 understand_G4920 what_G5101 the_G3588 will_G2307 of the_G3588 Lord [is]._G2962

18: And_G2532 not_G3361 to be drunk_G3182 with wine,_G3631 in_G1722 which_G3739 is_G1510 debauchery._G0810 Instead_G0235 be filled_G4137 with_G1722 [the] Spirit,_G4151

19: speaking_G2980 to each other_G1438 in_G1722 psalms_G5568 and_G2532 hymns_G5215 and_G2532 songs_G5603 spiritual,_G4152 singing_G0103 and_G2532 making melody_G5567 in the_G3588 heart_G2588 of you_G4771 to the_G3588 Lord,_G2962

20: giving thanks_G2168 at all times_G3842 for_G5228 all things_G3956 in_G1722 [the] name_G3686 the_G3588 Lord_G2962 of us_G1473 Jesus_G2424 Christ_G5547 to the_G3588 God_G2316 and_G2532 Father._G3962

21: Be submitting yourselves_G5293 to one another_G0240 in_G1722 reverence_G5401 of Christ:_G5547

22: -_G3588 wives,_G1135 to the_G3588 own_G2398 husbands,_G0435 as_G5613 to the_G3588 Lord;_G2962

23: for_G3754 [the] husband_G0435 is_G1510 head_G2776 of the_G3588 wife,_G1135 as_G5613 also_G2532 -_G3588 Christ_G5547 [is the] head_G2776 of the_G3588 church,_G1577 He Himself_G0846 Savior_G4990 of the_G3588 body._G4983

24: But_G0235 even as_G5613 the_G3588 church_G1577 is subjected_G5293 -_G3588 to Christ,_G5547 so_G3779 also_G2532 -_G3588 wives_G1135 to the own_G3588 husbands_G0435 in_G1722 everything._G3956

25: -_G3588 Husbands,_G0435 love_G0025 the_G3588 wives,_G1135 just as_G2531 also_G2532 -_G3588 Christ_G5547 loved_G0025 the_G3588 church_G1577 and_G2532 Himself_G1438 gave up_G3860 for_G5228 her,_G0846

26: so that_G2443 her_G0846 He might sanctify,_G0037 having cleansed [her]_G2511 by the_G3588 washing_G3067 -_G3588 of water_G5204 by_G1722 [the] word,_G4487

27: so that_G2443 might present_G3936 He_G0846 to Himself_G1438 in glory_G1741 the_G3588 church,_G1577 not_G3361 having_G2192 spot_G4696 or_G2228 wrinkle_G4512 or_G2228 any_G5100 of the_G3588 such things,_G5108 but_G0235 that_G2443 it would be_G1510 holy_G0040 and_G2532 blameless._G0299

28: So_G3779 ought_G3784 also_G2532 -_G3588 husbands_G0435 to love_G0025 the_G3588 of themselves_G1438 wives,_G1135 as_G5613 the_G3588 of themselves_G1438 bodies._G4983 The [one]_G3588 loving_G0025 the_G3588 of himself_G1438 wife,_G1135 himself_G1438 loves._G0025

29: No one_G3762 for_G1063 at any time_G4218 the_G3588 of himself_G1438 flesh_G4561 hated,_G3404 but_G0235 he nourishes_G1625 and_G2532 cherishes_G2282 it,_G0846 just as_G2531 also [does]_G2532 -_G3588 Christ_G5547 the_G3588 church;_G1577

30: for_G3754 members_G3196 we are_G1510 of the_G3588 body_G4983 of Him._G0846 of_G1537 the_G3588 flesh_G4561 of him_G0847 and_G2532 of_G1537 the_G3588 bones_G3747 of him._G0847

31: Because of_G0473 this,_G3778 will leave_G2641 a man_G0444 his_G3588 father_G3962 and_G2532 -_G3588 mother_G3384 and_G2532 be joined_G4347 to_G4314 the_G3588 wife_G1135 of him,_G0846 and_G2532 will be_G1510 the_G3588 two_G1417 into_G1519 flesh_G4561 one._G1520

32: The_G3588 mystery_G3466 this_G3778 great_G3173 is;_G1510 I_G1473 however_G1161 speak_G3004 as to_G1519 Christ,_G5547 and_G2532 as to_G1519 the_G3588 church._G1577

33: However_G4133 also_G2532 you_G4771 -_G3588 according to_G2596 individual,_G1520 each_G1538 the_G3588 of himself_G1438 wife,_G1135 so_G3779 let love_G0025 as_G5613 himself;_G1438 -_G3588 and_G1161 the wife_G1135 that_G2443 she may respect_G5399 the_G3588 husband._G0435
