2: devout_G2152 and_G2532 fearing_G5399 -_G3588 God_G2316 with_G4862 all_G3956 the_G3588 household_G3624 of him,_G0846 doing_G4160 alms_G1654 many_G4183 to the_G3588 people,_G2992 and_G2532 praying_G1189 to_G3588 God_G2316 continually_G1223 all._G3956

3: He saw_G3708 in_G1722 a vision_G3705 clearly,_G5320 as if_G5616 about_G4012 hour_G5610 the ninth_G1766 of the_G3588 day,_G2250 an angel_G0032 -_G3588 of God_G2316 having come_G1525 to_G4314 him_G0846 and_G2532 having said_G2036 to him,_G0846 Cornelius!_G2883

4: -_G3588 And_G1161 having looked intently_G0816 on him,_G0846 and_G2532 afraid_G1719 having become,_G1096 he said,_G2036 What_G5101 is it,_G1510 Lord?_G2962 He said_G2036 then_G1161 to him,_G0846 The_G3588 prayers_G4335 of You_G4771 and_G2532 the_G3588 alms_G1654 of you_G4771 have ascended_G0305 as_G1519 a memorial_G3422 before_G1715 -_G3588 God._G2316

5: And_G2532 now_G3568 send_G3992 men_G0435 to_G1519 Joppa_G2445 and_G2532 summon_G3343 Simon,_G4613 a man_G5100 who_G3739 is called_G1941 Peter._G4074

6: He_G3778 lodges_G3579 with_G3844 a certain_G5100 Simon_G4613 a tanner,_G1038 whose_G3739 is_G1510 [the] house_G3614 by_G3844 [the] sea._G2281 He_G3778 will tell_G2980 you_G4771 what_G5101 you_G4771 it behooves_G1163 to do._G4160

7: When_G5613 then_G1161 had departed_G0565 the_G3588 angel_G0032 -_G3588 speaking_G2980 to him,_G0846 having called_G5455 two_G1417 of the_G3588 servants_G3610 and_G2532 a soldier_G4757 devout_G2152 of those who_G3588 are attending_G4342 him,_G0846

10: He became_G1096 then_G1161 hungry_G4361 and_G2532 desired_G2309 to eat;_G1089 [as] were preparing_G3903 however_G1161 they,_G0846 fell_G1096 upon_G1909 him_G0846 a trance,_G1611

11: and_G2532 he beholds_G2334 -_G3588 heaven_G3772 opening,_G0455 and_G2532 descending_G2597 a vessel_G4632 certain,_G5100 as_G5613 a sheet_G3607 great,_G3173 by four_G5064 corners_G0746 being let down_G2524 upon_G1909 the_G3588 earth,_G1093

12: in_G1722 which_G3739 were_G5225 all_G3956 the_G3588 quadrupeds,_G5074 and_G2532 creeping things_G2062 of the_G3588 earth,_G1093 and_G2532 birds_G4071 of_G3588 heaven._G3772

13: And_G2532 came_G1096 a voice_G5456 to_G4314 him:_G0846 Having risen up,_G0450 Peter,_G4074 kill_G2380 and_G2532 eat!_G5315

14: -_G3588 And_G1161 Peter_G4074 said,_G2036 In no way,_G3365 Lord;_G2962 for_G3754 never_G3763 have I eaten_G5315 anything_G3956 common_G2839 or_G2532 unclean._G0169

15: And_G2532 a voice_G5456 [came] again_G3825 for_G1537 the second time_G1208 to_G4314 him:_G0846 What_G3739 -_G3588 God_G2316 has cleansed,_G2511 you_G4771 not_G3361 call common._G2840

16: This_G3778 now_G1161 took place_G1096 for_G1909 three times,_G5151 and_G2532 immediately_G2112 was taken up_G0353 the_G3588 vessel_G4632 into_G1519 -_G3588 heaven._G3772

18: And_G2532 having called out,_G5455 they were asking_G4441 if_G1487 Simon_G4613 who [is]_G3588 called_G1941 Peter_G4074 here_G1759 is lodged._G3579

19: -_G3588 And_G1161 of Peter_G4074 thinking_G1760 over_G4012 the_G3588 vision,_G3705 said_G2036 to him_G0846 the_G3588 Spirit,_G4151 Behold,_G2400 men_G0435 three_G5140 are seeking_G2212 you._G4771

20: But_G0235 having risen,_G0450 go down_G2597 and_G2532 proceed_G4198 with_G4862 them,_G0846 nothing_G3367 doubting,_G1252 because_G3754 I_G1473 have sent_G0649 them._G0846

21: Having gone down_G2597 then_G1161 Peter_G4074 to_G4314 the_G3588 men,_G0435 who_G3588 were sent_G0649 from_G0575 -_G3588 Cornelius_G2883 to_G4314 him,_G0848 he said,_G2036 Behold,_G2400 I_G1473 am_G1510 whom_G3739 you seek;_G2212 what [is]_G5101 the_G3588 cause_G0156 for_G1223 which_G3739 you are here?_G3918

22: -_G3588 And_G1161 they said,_G2036 Cornelius_G2883 a centurion,_G1543 a man_G0435 righteous_G1342 and_G2532 fearing_G5399 -_G3588 God,_G2316 being well testified to_G3140 then_G5037 by_G5259 all_G3650 the_G3588 nation_G1484 of the_G3588 Jews,_G2453 was divinely instructed_G5537 by_G5259 an angel_G0032 holy_G0040 to send for_G3343 you_G4771 to_G1519 the_G3588 house_G3624 of him,_G0846 and_G2532 to hear_G0191 a message_G4487 from_G3844 you._G4771

25: As_G5613 then_G1161 was_G1096 -_G3588 entering_G1525 -_G3588 Peter,_G4074 having met_G4876 him_G0846 -_G3588 Cornelius,_G2883 having fallen_G4098 at_G1909 the_G3588 feet,_G4228 worshiped [him]._G4352

26: -_G3588 But_G1161 Peter_G4074 lifted up_G1453 him,_G0846 saying,_G3004 Rise up,_G0450 also_G2532 I_G1473 myself_G0846 a man_G0444 am._G1510

27: And_G2532 talking with_G4926 him,_G0846 he entered,_G1525 and_G2532 he finds_G2147 having gathered together_G4905 many._G4183

28: He was saying_G5346 then_G5037 to_G4314 them,_G0846 You_G4771 know_G1987 how_G5613 unlawful_G0111 it is_G1510 for a man_G0435 a Jew_G2453 to unite himself_G2853 or_G2228 to come near_G4334 to a foreigner._G0246 To me_G2504 however_G3588 God_G2316 has shown,_G1166 not_G3367 common_G2839 or_G2228 unclean_G0169 to call_G3004 man._G0444

29: Therefore_G1352 also_G2532 without objection_G0369 I came,_G2064 having been summoned._G3343 I inquire_G4441 therefore,_G3767 for what_G5101 reason_G3056 did you summon_G3343 me?_G1473

30: And_G2532 -_G3588 Cornelius_G2883 was saying,_G5346 Ago_G0575 four_G5067 days,_G2250 until_G3360 this_G3778 the_G3588 hour,_G5610 I was_G1510 at the_G3588 ninth hour_G1766 praying_G4336 in_G1722 the_G3588 house_G3624 of me;_G1473 and_G2532 behold,_G2400 a man_G0435 stood_G2476 before_G1799 me_G1473 in_G1722 apparel_G2066 bright,_G2986

31: and_G2532 said,_G5346 Cornelius,_G2883 has been heard_G1522 your_G4771 -_G3588 prayer,_G4335 and_G2532 the_G3588 alms_G1654 of you_G4771 have been remembered_G3403 before_G1799 -_G3588 God._G2316

32: Send_G3992 therefore_G3767 to_G1519 Joppa_G2445 and_G2532 call for_G3333 Simon,_G4613 who_G3739 is called_G1941 Peter;_G4074 He_G3778 lodges_G3579 in_G1722 [the] house_G3614 of Simon,_G4613 a tanner_G1038 by_G3844 [the] sea._G2281

33: At once_G1824 therefore_G3767 I sent_G3992 to_G4314 you;_G4771 you_G4771 then_G5037 well_G2573 did,_G4160 having come._G3854 Now_G3568 therefore,_G3767 all_G3956 we_G1473 before_G1799 -_G3588 God_G2316 are present_G3918 to hear_G0191 all_G3956 the things_G3588 having been commanded_G4367 you_G4771 by_G5259 the_G3588 Lord._G2962

34: Having opened_G0455 then_G1161 Peter_G4074 the_G3588 mouth,_G4750 he said,_G2036 Of_G1909 a truth_G0225 I understand_G2638 that_G3754 not_G3756 is_G1510 One who shows partiality_G4381 -_G3588 God,_G2316

35: but_G0235 in_G1722 every_G3956 nation,_G1484 the [one]_G3588 fearing_G5399 Him_G0846 and_G2532 working_G2038 righteousness,_G1343 acceptable_G1184 to Him_G0846 is,_G1510

36: the_G3588 word_G3056 that_G3739 He sent_G0649 to the_G3588 sons_G5207 of Israel,_G2474 proclaiming the gospel,_G2097 peace_G1515 by_G1223 Jesus_G2424 Christ—_G5547 He_G3778 is_G1510 of all_G3956 Lord._G2962

37: You yourselves_G4771 know_G1492 the_G3588 having come_G1096 declaration_G4487 through_G2596 all_G3650 -_G3588 Judea,_G2449 having begun_G0756 from_G0575 -_G3588 Galilee,_G1056 after_G3326 the_G3588 baptism_G0908 that_G3739 proclaimed_G2784 John:_G2491

38: Jesus_G2424 -_G3588 from_G0575 Nazareth,_G3478 how_G5613 anointed_G5548 Him_G0846 -_G3588 God_G2316 Spirit_G4151 with Holy_G0040 and_G2532 with power,_G1411 who_G3739 went about_G1330 doing good_G2109 and_G2532 healing_G2390 all_G3956 those_G3588 being oppressed_G2616 by_G5259 the_G3588 devil,_G1228 because_G3754 -_G3588 God_G2316 was_G1510 with_G3326 Him._G0846

39: And_G2532 we_G1473 [are] witnesses_G3144 of all things_G3956 that_G3739 He did_G4160 in_G1722 both_G5037 the_G3588 region_G5561 of the_G3588 Jews_G2453 and_G2532 in_G1722 Jerusalem,_G2419 whom_G3739 also_G2532 they put to death,_G0337 having hanged [Him]_G2910 on_G1909 a tree._G3586

40: This One_G3778 -_G3588 God_G2316 raised up_G1453 on_G1722 the_G3588 third_G5154 day,_G2250 and_G2532 gave_G1325 Him_G0846 manifest_G1717 to become,_G1096

41: not_G3756 to all_G3956 the_G3588 people,_G2992 but_G0235 to [the] witnesses_G3144 -_G3588 having been chosen beforehand_G4401 by_G5259 -_G3588 God,_G2316 to us_G1473 who_G3748 did eat with_G4906 and_G2532 drink with_G4844 Him_G0846 after_G3326 -_G3588 rising_G0450 His_G0846 out from_G1537 [the] dead._G3498

42: And_G2532 He instructed_G3853 us_G1473 to proclaim_G2784 to the_G3588 people_G2992 and_G2532 to testify fully_G1263 that_G3754 He_G3778 is_G1510 the [One]_G3588 having been appointed_G3724 by_G5259 -_G3588 God_G2316 [as] judge_G2923 of living_G2198 and_G2532 dead._G3498

43: To Him_G3778 all_G3956 the_G3588 prophets_G4396 bear witness_G3140 [that] forgiveness_G0859 of sins_G0266 receives_G2983 through_G1223 the_G3588 name_G3686 of Him_G0846 everyone_G3956 -_G3588 believing_G4100 in_G1519 Him._G0846

44: Still_G2089 speaking_G2980 -_G3588 of Peter_G4074 the_G3588 words_G4487 these,_G3778 fell_G1968 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 -_G3588 Holy_G0040 upon_G1909 all_G3956 those_G3588 hearing_G0191 the_G3588 word._G3056

45: And_G2532 were amazed_G1839 the_G3588 from_G1537 [the] circumcision_G4061 believers,_G4103 as many as_G3745 had come with_G4905 -_G3588 Peter,_G4074 that_G3754 even_G2532 upon_G1909 the_G3588 Gentiles_G1484 the_G3588 gift_G1431 of the_G3588 Holy_G0040 -_G3588 Spirit_G4151 has been poured out._G1632

46: They were hearing_G0191 for_G1063 them_G0846 speaking_G2980 in tongues_G1100 and_G2532 magnifying_G3170 -_G3588 God._G2316 Then_G5119 answered_G0611 Peter,_G4074

47: If not_G3385 the_G3588 water_G5204 is able_G1410 to withhold_G2967 anyone_G5100 -_G3588 not_G3361 to baptize_G0907 these_G3778 who_G3748 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 -_G3588 Holy_G0040 have received,_G2983 just as_G5613 also [have]_G2532 we?_G1473

48: He commanded_G4367 now_G1161 them_G0846 in_G1722 the_G3588 name_G3686 of Jesus_G2424 Christ_G5547 to be baptized._G0907 Then_G5119 they asked_G2065 him_G0846 to remain_G1961 days_G2250 some._G5100
