2: and_G2532 he kept back_G3557 from_G0575 the_G3588 proceeds,_G5092 being aware of [it]_G4894 also_G2532 the_G3588 wife,_G1135 and_G2532 having brought_G5342 a portion_G3313 certain,_G5100 at_G3844 the_G3588 feet_G4228 of the_G3588 apostles_G0652 he laid [it]._G5087

3: Said_G2036 however_G1161 -_G3588 Peter,_G4074 Ananias,_G0367 because of_G1223 why_G5101 has filled_G4137 -_G3588 Satan_G4567 the_G3588 heart_G2588 of you_G4771 to lie to_G5574 [for] you_G4771 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 -_G3588 Holy_G0040 and_G2532 to keep back_G3557 from_G0575 the_G3588 proceeds_G5092 of the_G3588 land?_G5564

4: Not_G3780 remaining_G3306 to you_G4771 did it remain?_G3306 And_G2532 having been sold,_G4097 in_G1722 the_G3588 own_G4674 authority_G1849 it was?_G5225 Why_G5101 -_G3754 did you purpose_G5087 in_G1722 the_G3588 heart_G2588 of you_G4771 the_G3588 deed_G4229 this?_G3778 Not_G3756 you have lied_G5574 to men,_G0444 but_G0235 -_G3588 to God!_G2316

5: Hearing_G0191 now_G1161 -_G3588 Ananias_G0367 the_G3588 words_G3056 these,_G3778 having fallen down,_G4098 he breathed his last._G1634 And_G2532 came_G1096 fear_G5401 great_G3173 upon_G1909 all_G3956 those_G3588 hearing._G0191

6: Having arisen_G0450 then,_G1161 the_G3588 younger [men]_G3501 covered_G4958 him,_G0846 and_G2532 having carried [him] out,_G1627 buried [him]._G2290

7: It came to pass_G1096 now_G1161 about_G5613 hours_G5610 three_G5140 afterward,_G1292 also_G2532 the_G3588 wife_G1135 of him,_G0846 not_G3361 knowing_G1492 that_G3588 having come to pass,_G1096 came in._G1525

8: Replied_G0611 then_G1161 to_G4314 her_G0846 Peter,_G4074 Tell_G2036 me_G1473 if_G1487 for so much,_G5118 the_G3588 land_G5564 you sold?_G0591 -_G3588 And_G1161 she said,_G2036 Yes,_G3483 for so much._G5118

9: -_G3588 But_G1161 Peter [said]_G4074 to_G4314 her,_G0846 Why [is it]_G5101 that_G3754 have agreed together_G4856 you_G4771 to test_G3985 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 of [the] Lord?_G2962 Behold,_G2400 the_G3588 feet_G4228 of those_G3588 having buried_G2290 the_G3588 husband_G0435 of you_G4771 [are] at_G1909 the_G3588 door,_G2374 and_G2532 they will carry out_G1627 you._G4771

10: She fell down_G4098 then_G1161 immediately_G3916 at_G4314 the_G3588 feet_G4228 of him_G0846 and_G2532 breathed her last._G1634 Having come in_G1525 then,_G1161 the_G3588 young [men]_G3495 found_G2147 her_G0846 dead;_G3498 and_G2532 having carried out,_G1627 they buried [her]_G2290 by_G4314 the_G3588 husband_G0435 of her._G0846

15: so as_G5620 even_G2532 into_G1519 the_G3588 streets_G4113 to bring out_G1627 the_G3588 sick,_G0772 and_G2532 to put [them]_G5087 on_G1909 cots_G2826 and_G2532 mats,_G2895 that_G2443 coming_G2064 of Peter,_G4074 at least_G2579 the_G3588 shadow_G4639 might envelop_G1982 some_G5100 of them._G0846

16: Were coming together_G4905 now_G1161 also_G2532 the_G3588 multitude_G4128 from the_G3588 surrounding_G4038 cities_G4172 Jerusalem,_G2419 bringing_G5342 [the] sick_G0772 and_G2532 [those] being tormented_G3791 by_G5259 spirits_G4151 unclean,_G0169 who_G3748 were healed_G2323 all._G0537

17: Having risen up_G0450 however_G1161 the_G3588 high priest_G0749 and_G2532 all_G3956 those_G3588 with_G4862 him,_G0846 -_G3588 being_G1510 the sect_G0139 of the_G3588 Sadducees,_G4523 were filled_G4130 with jealousy,_G2205

18: and_G2532 they laid_G1911 the_G3588 hands_G5495 on_G1909 the_G3588 apostles_G0652 and_G2532 put_G5087 them_G0846 in_G1722 [the] jail_G5084 public._G1219

19: An angel_G0032 however_G1161 of [the] Lord,_G2962 during_G1223 the night_G3571 having opened_G0455 the_G3588 doors_G2374 of the_G3588 prison,_G5438 having brought out_G1806 then_G5037 them,_G0846 said,_G2036

20: Go,_G4198 and_G2532 having stood,_G2476 speak_G2980 in_G1722 the_G3588 temple_G2411 to the_G3588 people_G2992 all_G3956 the_G3588 words_G4487 of the_G3588 life_G2222 this._G3778

21: Having heard_G0191 now,_G1161 they entered_G1525 at_G5259 the_G3588 dawn_G3722 into_G1519 the_G3588 temple_G2411 and_G2532 were teaching._G1321 Having come_G3854 now_G1161 the_G3588 high priest_G0749 and_G2532 those_G3588 with_G4862 him,_G0846 they called together_G4779 the_G3588 Council,_G4892 even_G2532 all_G3956 the_G3588 Senate_G1087 of the_G3588 sons_G5207 of Israel,_G2474 and_G2532 sent_G0649 to_G1519 the_G3588 prison house_G1201 to bring_G0071 them._G0846

22: -_G3588 And_G1161 having come,_G3854 [the] officers_G5257 not_G3756 did find_G2147 them_G0846 in_G1722 the_G3588 prison;_G5438 having returned_G0390 then_G1161 they reported back,_G0518

23: saying_G3004 -,_G3754 The_G3588 prison house_G1201 we found_G2147 shut,_G2808 with_G1722 all_G3956 security,_G0803 and_G2532 the_G3588 guards_G5441 standing_G2476 before_G1909 the_G3588 doors;_G2374 having opened [them]_G0455 however,_G1161 inside_G2080 no one_G3762 we found._G2147

24: When_G5613 now_G1161 they heard_G0191 the_G3588 words_G3056 these,_G3778 -_G3588 both_G5037 the captain_G4755 of the_G3588 temple_G2411 and_G2532 the_G3588 chief priests_G0749 were perplexed_G1280 concerning_G4012 them,_G0846 what_G5101 -_G0302 might be_G1096 this._G3778

25: Having come_G3854 then,_G1161 a certain one_G5100 reported_G0518 to them_G0846 -,_G3754 Behold,_G2400 the_G3588 men_G0435 whom_G3739 you put_G5087 in_G1722 the_G3588 prison_G5438 are_G1510 in_G1722 the_G3588 temple,_G2411 standing_G2476 and_G2532 teaching_G1321 the_G3588 people!_G2992

26: Then_G5119 having gone,_G0565 the_G3588 captain_G4755 with_G4862 the_G3588 officers_G5257 was bringing_G0071 them,_G0846 not_G3756 with_G3326 force;_G0970 they were afraid of_G5399 for_G1063 the_G3588 people_G2992 lest_G3361 they might be stoned._G3034

27: Having brought_G0071 then_G1161 them,_G0846 they set [them]_G2476 in_G1722 the_G3588 Council._G4892 And_G2532 asked_G1905 them_G0846 the_G3588 high priest,_G0749

28: saying,_G3004 Not_G3756 by a charge_G3852 we commanded_G3853 you_G4771 not_G3361 to teach_G1321 in_G1909 the_G3588 name_G3686 this?_G3778 And_G2532 behold,_G2400 you have filled_G4137 -_G3588 Jerusalem_G2419 with the_G3588 teaching_G1322 of you,_G4771 and_G2532 you intend_G1014 to bring_G1863 upon_G1909 us_G1473 the_G3588 blood_G0129 of the_G3588 man_G0444 this._G3778

29: Answering_G0611 however,_G1161 Peter_G4074 and_G2532 the_G3588 apostles_G0652 said,_G2036 To obey_G3980 it is necessary_G1163 God,_G2316 rather_G3123 than_G2228 men._G0444

30: The_G3588 God_G2316 of the_G3588 fathers_G3962 of us_G1473 raised up_G1453 Jesus,_G2424 whom_G3739 you_G4771 killed,_G1315 having hanged [Him]_G2910 on_G1909 a tree._G3586

31: Him_G3778 -_G3588 God_G2316 [as] Prince_G0747 and_G2532 Savior_G4990 exalted_G5312 by the_G3588 right hand_G1188 of Him,_G0846 -_G3588 to give_G1325 repentance_G3341 -_G3588 to Israel_G2474 and_G2532 forgiveness_G0859 of sins._G0266

32: And_G2532 we_G1473 are_G1510 witnesses_G3144 of the_G3588 things_G4487 these,_G3778 and also_G2532 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 -_G3588 Holy,_G0040 whom_G3739 has given_G1325 -_G3588 God_G2316 to those_G3588 obeying_G3980 Him._G0846

33: -_G3588 And_G1161 having heard,_G0191 they were cut [to the heart]_G1282 and_G2532 were desiring_G1014 to put to death_G0337 them._G0846

34: Having risen up_G0450 however_G1161 a certain [man]_G5100 in_G1722 the_G3588 Council,_G4892 a Pharisee_G5330 named_G3686 Gamaliel,_G1059 a teacher of the law_G3547 honored_G5093 by all_G3956 the_G3588 people,_G2992 he commanded [them]_G2753 outside_G1854 for a short while_G1024 the_G3588 men_G0444 to put._G4160

35: He said_G2036 then_G5037 to_G4314 them,_G0846 Men,_G0435 Israelites,_G2475 take heed_G4337 to yourselves_G1438 with_G1909 the_G3588 men_G0444 these,_G3778 what_G5101 you are about_G3195 to do._G4238

36: Before_G4253 for_G1063 these_G3778 -_G3588 days_G2250 rose up_G0450 Theudas,_G2333 affirming_G3004 to be_G1510 somebody_G5100 himself,_G1438 to whom_G3739 were joined_G4346 of men_G0435 number_G0706 about_G5613 four hundred,_G5071 who_G3739 was put to death,_G0337 and_G2532 all,_G3956 as many as_G3745 were persuaded_G3982 by him,_G0846 were dispersed,_G1262 and_G2532 it came_G1096 to_G1519 nothing._G3762

37: After_G3326 this man_G3778 rose up_G0450 Judas_G2455 the_G3588 Galilean_G1057 in_G1722 the_G3588 days_G2250 of the_G3588 registration_G0582 and_G2532 drew away_G0868 people_G2992 after_G3694 him._G0846 And he_G2548 perished,_G0622 and_G2532 all_G3956 as many as_G3745 were persuaded_G3982 by him,_G0846 were scattered._G1287

38: And_G2532 -_G3588 now_G3568 I say_G3004 to you,_G4771 withdraw_G0868 from_G0575 the_G3588 men_G0444 these,_G3778 and_G2532 let alone_G0863 them,_G0846 for_G3754 if_G1437 be_G1510 from_G1537 men,_G0444 the_G3588 plan_G1012 this_G3778 or_G2228 the_G3588 work_G2041 this,_G3778 it will be overthrown;_G2647

39: if_G1487 however_G1161 from_G1537 God_G2316 it is,_G1510 not_G3756 you will be able_G1410 to overthrow_G2647 them,_G0846 lest_G3361 ever_G4219 also_G2532 fighting against God_G2314 You would be found._G2147

40: They were persuaded_G3982 now_G1161 by him;_G0846 and_G2532 having called in_G4341 the_G3588 apostles,_G0652 having beaten,_G1194 they commanded [them]_G3853 not_G3361 to speak_G2980 in_G1909 the_G3588 name_G3686 -_G3588 of Jesus,_G2424 and_G2532 released [them]._G0630

41: They_G3588 indeed_G3303 therefore_G3767 departed,_G4198 rejoicing,_G5463 from_G0575 [the] presence_G4383 of the_G3588 Council,_G4892 that_G3754 they had been counted worthy_G2661 for_G5228 the_G3588 Name_G3686 to suffer dishonor._G0818

42: Every_G3956 then_G5037 day,_G2250 in_G1722 the_G3588 temple_G2411 and_G2532 in_G2596 house,_G3624 not_G3756 they ceased_G3973 teaching_G1321 and_G2532 proclaiming the good news that_G2097 the_G3588 Christ_G5547 [is] Jesus._G2424
