2: And_G2532 came_G1096 suddenly_G0869 out of_G1537 -_G3588 heaven_G3772 a sound,_G2279 like_G5618 [the] rushing_G5342 of a wind_G4157 violent,_G0972 and_G2532 it filled_G4137 all_G3650 the_G3588 house_G3624 where_G3757 they were_G1510 sitting._G2521

3: And_G2532 there appeared_G3708 to them_G0846 dividing_G1266 tongues_G1100 as_G5616 of fire_G4442 and_G2532 sat_G2523 upon_G1909 one_G1520 each_G1538 of them._G0846

4: And_G2532 they were filled with_G4130 all_G3956 Spirit_G4151 Holy,_G0040 and_G2532 began_G0756 to speak_G2980 in other_G2087 tongues_G1100 as_G2531 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 was giving_G1325 to utter forth_G0669 to them._G0846

5: Were_G1510 now_G1161 in_G1519 Jerusalem_G2419 dwelling_G2730 Jews,_G2453 men_G0435 devout_G2126 from_G0575 every_G3956 nation_G1484 of those_G3588 under_G5259 -_G3588 heaven._G3772

6: Having come about_G1096 now_G1161 the_G3588 sound_G5456 of this,_G3778 came together_G4905 the_G3588 multitude_G4128 and_G2532 was confounded,_G4797 because_G3754 was hearing_G0191 one_G1520 each_G1538 the_G3588 own_G2398 language_G1258 speaking_G2980 them._G0846

7: They were amazed_G1839 then_G1161 and_G2532 were marveling,_G2296 saying,_G3004 Not_G3756 behold_G2400 all_G3956 these_G3778 are_G1510 who_G3588 are speaking_G2980 Galileans?_G1057

8: And_G2532 how_G4459 we_G1473 hear_G0191 each_G1538 the_G3588 own_G2398 language_G1258 of us,_G1473 in_G1722 which_G3739 we were born?_G1080

9: Parthians,_G3934 and_G2532 Medes,_G3370 and_G2532 Elamites;_G1639 and_G2532 those_G3588 inhabiting_G2730 -_G3588 Mesopotamia,_G3318 Judea_G2449 also,_G5037 and_G2532 Cappadocia,_G2587 Pontus_G4195 and_G2532 -_G3588 Asia;_G0773

10: Phrygia_G5435 both_G5037 and_G2532 Pamphylia,_G3828 Egypt_G0125 and_G2532 the_G3588 parts_G3313 -_G3588 of Libya_G3033 that_G3588 [are] around_G2596 Cyrene,_G2957 and_G2532 those_G3588 visiting [here]_G1927 from Rome;_G4514

11: Jews_G2453 both_G5037 and_G2532 converts,_G4339 Cretans_G2912 and_G2532 Arabs—_G0690 we hear_G0191 speaking_G2980 them_G0846 -_G3588 [in] our own_G2251 tongues_G1100 the_G3588 great things_G3167 -_G3588 of God!_G2316

12: Were amazed_G1839 then_G1161 all_G3956 and_G2532 were perplexed,_G1280 other_G0243 to_G4314 other_G0243 saying,_G3004 What_G5101 wishes_G2309 this_G3778 to be?_G1510

13: Others_G2087 however_G1161 mocking_G5512 were saying_G2036 -,_G3754 Of new wine_G1098 full_G3325 they are._G1510

14: Having stood up_G2476 however_G1161 -_G3588 Peter_G4074 with_G4862 the_G3588 eleven,_G1733 he lifted up_G1869 the_G3588 voice_G5456 of him_G0846 and_G2532 spoke forth_G0669 to them:_G0846 Men_G0435 of Judea_G2453 and_G2532 those_G3588 inhabiting_G2730 Jerusalem_G2419 all,_G3956 this_G3778 to you_G4771 known_G1110 let be,_G1510 and_G2532 give heed to_G1801 the_G3588 words_G4487 of me._G1473

15: Not_G3756 for_G1063 as_G5613 you_G4771 suppose,_G5274 these_G3778 are drunkards;_G3184 it is_G1510 for_G1063 [the] hour_G5610 third_G5154 of the_G3588 day;_G2250

17: And_G2532 it will be_G1510 in_G1722 the_G3588 last_G2078 days,_G2250 says_G3004 -_G3588 God,_G2316 I will pour out_G1632 of_G0575 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 of Me_G1473 upon_G1909 all_G3956 flesh;_G4561 and_G2532 will prophesy_G4395 the_G3588 sons_G5207 of you,_G4771 and_G2532 the_G3588 daughters_G2364 of you;_G4771 and_G2532 the_G3588 young men_G3495 of you_G4771 visions_G3706 will see,_G3708 and_G2532 the_G3588 elders_G4245 of you_G4771 dreams_G1798 will dream;_G1797

18: and_G2532 even_G1065 upon_G1909 the_G3588 servants_G1401 of Me,_G1473 and_G2532 upon_G1909 the_G3588 handmaidens_G1399 of Me,_G1473 in_G1722 the_G3588 days_G2250 those_G1565 I will pour out_G1632 of_G0575 the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 of Me,_G1473 and_G2532 they will prophesy._G4395

19: and_G2532 I will show_G1325 wonders_G5059 in_G1722 -_G3588 heaven_G3772 above,_G0507 and_G2532 signs_G4592 on_G1909 the_G3588 earth_G1093 below,_G2736 blood_G0129 and_G2532 fire_G4442 and_G2532 vapor_G0822 of smoke._G2586

20: The_G3588 sun_G2246 will be turned_G3344 into_G1519 darkness,_G4655 and_G2532 the_G3588 moon_G4582 into_G1519 blood,_G0129 before_G4250 than_G2228 coming_G2064 day_G2250 of [the] Lord,_G2962 -_G3588 great_G3173 and_G2532 glorious._G2016

21: And_G2532 it shall be,_G1510 everyone_G3956 who_G3739 if_G1437 they shall call upon_G1941 the_G3588 name_G3686 of [the] Lord_G2962 will be saved._G4982

22: Men,_G0435 Israelites,_G2475 hear_G0191 the_G3588 words_G3056 these:_G3778 Jesus_G2424 of_G3588 Nazareth,_G3480 a man_G0435 having been set forth_G0584 by_G0575 -_G3588 God_G2316 to_G1519 you_G4771 by miracles_G1411 and_G2532 wonders_G5059 and_G2532 signs,_G4592 which_G3739 did_G4160 by_G1223 Him_G0846 -_G3588 God_G2316 in_G1722 the midst_G3319 of you,_G4771 as_G2531 you yourselves_G0846 know,_G1492

23: Him_G3778 by the_G3588 determinate_G3724 plan_G1012 and_G2532 foreknowledge_G4268 -_G3588 of God,_G2316 delivered up_G1560 by_G1223 hands_G5495 lawless,_G0459 having crucified,_G4362 You put to death,_G0337

24: whom_G3739 -_G3588 God_G2316 raised up,_G0450 having loosed_G3089 the_G3588 agony_G5604 of_G3588 death,_G2288 inasmuch as_G2530 not_G3756 it was_G1510 possible_G1415 [for] to be held_G2902 Him_G0846 by_G5259 it._G0846

25: David_G1138 for_G1063 says_G3004 about_G1519 Him:_G0846 I foresaw_G4308 the_G3588 Lord_G2962 before_G1799 me_G1473 continually_G1223 everything,_G3956 because_G3754 at [the]_G1537 right hand_G1188 of me_G1473 He is,_G1510 that_G2443 not_G3361 I should be shaken._G4531

26: Because of_G1223 this_G3778 was glad_G2165 of me_G1473 the_G3588 heart,_G2588 and_G2532 rejoiced_G0021 the_G3588 tongue_G1100 of me;_G1473 and_G2089 now_G1161 also_G2532 the_G3588 flesh_G4561 of me_G1473 will dwell_G2681 in_G1909 hope,_G1680

27: for_G3754 not_G3756 You will abandon_G1459 the_G3588 soul_G5590 of me_G1473 into_G1519 Hades,_G0086 nor_G3761 will You allow_G1325 the_G3588 Holy One_G3741 of You_G4771 to see_G3708 decay._G1312

28: You have made known_G1107 to me_G1473 [the] paths_G3598 of life;_G2222 You will fill_G4137 me_G1473 with joy_G2167 in_G3326 the_G3588 presence_G4383 of You._G4771

29: Men,_G0435 brothers,_G0080 it is permitted [me]_G1832 to speak_G2036 with_G3326 freedom_G3954 to_G4314 you_G4771 concerning_G4012 the_G3588 patriarch_G3966 David,_G1138 that_G3754 both_G2532 he died_G5053 and_G2532 was buried,_G2290 and_G2532 the_G3588 tomb_G3418 of him_G0846 is_G1510 among_G1722 us_G1473 unto_G0891 the_G3588 day_G2250 this._G3778

30: A prophet_G4396 therefore_G3767 being,_G5225 and_G2532 knowing_G1492 that_G3754 with an oath_G3727 swore_G3660 to him_G0846 -_G3588 God_G2316 out of [the]_G1537 fruit_G2590 of the_G3588 loins_G3751 of him_G0846 to set_G2523 upon_G1909 the_G3588 throne_G2362 of him._G0846

31: Having foreseen,_G4308 he spoke_G2980 concerning_G4012 the_G3588 resurrection_G0386 of the_G3588 Christ,_G5547 that_G3754 neither_G3777 was He abandoned_G1459 into_G1519 Hades,_G0086 nor_G3777 the_G3588 flesh_G4561 of Him_G0846 saw_G3708 decay._G1312

32: This_G3778 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 has raised up_G0450 -_G3588 God,_G2316 whereof_G3739 all_G3956 we_G1473 are_G1510 witnesses._G3144

33: To the_G3588 right hand_G1188 therefore_G3767 -_G3588 of God_G2316 having been exalted,_G5312 -_G3588 and_G5037 the promise_G1860 of the_G3588 Spirit_G4151 -_G3588 Holy_G0040 having received_G2983 from_G3844 the_G3588 Father,_G3962 He has poured out_G1632 this_G3778 which_G3739 you_G4771 both_G2532 are seeing_G0991 and_G2532 hearing._G0191

34: Not_G3756 for_G1063 David_G1138 ascended_G0305 into_G1519 the_G3588 heavens;_G3772 he says_G3004 however_G1161 himself:_G0846 Said_G2036 the_G3588 Lord_G2962 to_G3588 [the] Lord_G2962 of me,_G1473 Sit_G2521 at_G1537 [the] right hand_G1188 of Me,_G1473

35: until_G2193 -_G0302 I place_G5087 the_G3588 enemies_G2190 of You,_G4771 a footstool_G5286 of the_G3588 feet_G4228 of You._G4771

36: Assuredly_G0806 therefore_G3767 let know_G1097 all_G3956 [the] house_G3624 of Israel_G2474 that_G3754 both_G2532 Lord_G2962 Him_G0846 and_G2532 Christ_G5547 has made_G4160 -_G3588 God—_G2316 this_G3778 -_G3588 Jesus_G2424 whom_G3739 you_G4771 crucified._G4717

37: Having heard_G0191 then,_G1161 they were pierced_G2660 to the_G3588 heart;_G2588 they said_G2036 then_G5037 to_G4314 -_G3588 Peter_G4074 and_G2532 the_G3588 other_G3062 apostles,_G0652 What_G5101 shall we do,_G4160 men,_G0435 brothers?_G0080

38: Peter_G4074 then_G1161 to_G4314 them,_G0846 Repent,_G3340 he declared,_G5346 and_G2532 be baptized,_G0907 every one_G1538 of you,_G4771 in_G1909 the_G3588 name_G3686 of Jesus_G2424 Christ_G5547 for the_G1519 forgiveness_G0859 of the_G3588 sins_G0266 of you,_G4771 and_G2532 you will receive_G2983 the_G3588 gift_G1431 of the_G3588 Holy_G0040 Spirit._G4151

39: To you_G4771 for_G1063 is_G1510 the_G3588 promise,_G1860 and_G2532 to the_G3588 children_G5043 of you,_G4771 and_G2532 to all_G3956 those_G3588 at_G1519 a distance,_G3112 as many as_G3745 -_G0302 shall call to Himself_G4341 [the] Lord,_G2962 the_G3588 God_G2316 of us._G1473

40: Other_G2087 and_G5037 words_G3056 many_G4119 he earnestly testified,_G1263 and_G2532 was exhorting_G3870 them,_G0846 saying,_G3004 Be saved_G4982 from_G0575 the_G3588 generation_G1074 -_G3588 perverse_G4646 this._G3778

41: Those_G3588 indeed_G3303 therefore_G3767 having received_G0588 the_G3588 word_G3056 of him_G0846 were baptized;_G0907 and_G2532 were added_G4369 on_G1722 the_G3588 day_G2250 that,_G1565 souls_G5590 about_G5616 three thousand._G5153

42: They were_G1510 now_G1161 steadfastly continuing_G4342 in the_G3588 teaching_G1322 of the_G3588 apostles,_G0652 and_G2532 -_G3588 in fellowship,_G2842 the_G3588 breaking_G2800 of the_G3588 bread,_G0740 and_G2532 the_G3588 prayers._G4335

43: There was coming_G1096 then_G1161 upon every_G3956 soul_G5590 awe,_G5401 many_G4183 and both_G5037 wonders_G5059 and_G2532 signs_G4592 through_G1223 the_G3588 apostles_G0652 were taking place._G1096

44: All_G3956 now_G1161 -_G3588 having believed_G4100 were_G1510 together_G1909 the_G3588 same_G0846 and_G2532 having_G2192 all things_G0537 in common;_G2839

45: and_G2532 the_G3588 possessions_G2933 and_G2532 the_G3588 goods_G5223 they were selling_G4097 and_G2532 were dividing_G1266 them_G0846 to all,_G3956 as_G2530 -_G0302 anyone_G5100 need_G5532 had._G2192

46: Every_G2596 day_G2250 and_G5037 steadfastly continuing_G4342 with one accord_G3661 in_G1722 the_G3588 temple,_G2411 breaking_G2806 then_G5037 at each_G2596 house_G3624 bread,_G0740 they were partaking_G3335 of food_G5160 with_G1722 gladness_G0020 and_G2532 sincerity_G0858 of heart,_G2588

47: praising_G0134 -_G3588 God_G2316 and_G2532 having_G2192 favor_G5485 with_G4314 all_G3650 the_G3588 people._G2992 -_G3588 And_G1161 the Lord_G2962 kept adding_G4369 those who_G3588 were being saved_G4982 every_G2596 day_G2250 to_G1909 their_G3588 number._G0846
